Guess I'll get to see my MAC buddy in front of the store 1st thing in the morning....We always seem to meet up like 5 mins prior to opening :)

This sucks! I only wanted two items and the way it's looking right now, I will only get one. My counter won't even hold items or do presales. Where will I be when they open on Thursday...work. This whole experience is making me rethink if I want to continue to purchase MAC and play this stupid game. There are some days I wish I never discovered the brand.

I just called my local MAC store and she confirmed that they are launching it tomorrow (one day early) . . . . *lacing up shoes*

I think Im gonna go by there on my way home just in case they decide to do sales early. They've been known to do that.

Just called and confirmed with my favorite Nordies MAC counter that they will have Hibiscus and Surf USA put aside for me.

How can macs website say coming soon for hibiscus? They're going to be sold out before it hits the warehouse with all their backorders.

I always LOL a bit when I get a mailer for the current collection in my inbox a full 24 hours after most of it has sold out haha. I ordered from Macy's at like 7:45am est today and now I'm compulsively checking the order status to see if they charged my card (they haven't yet :/ ). I don't know, if the order doesn't update by Thurs I'll guess I'll go into Macy's when they open and try my luck for My Paradise, which is really the only thing I really really want.

OH and yeah I noticed the coming soon on MAC for MP and Hibiscus too, when they fill all the backorders they will probably be out again. But then again, this might be like the time I managed to get Stereo Rose when it came back in stock like a week after the collection launched.

i was amused too by the mailer. especially since there are no pics of shadows, lipsticks or the cheek powder on it.
i see what you did there MAC, lol!

MAC is bugging for sure. I placed an order yesterday (Sun Blonde and Saffron) and it still says pending. I called and after the phone ringing for 2 minutes (I have a timer on my work phone) someone finally answered. Luckily my items are both on their way to my house. For giggles I asked when My Paradise would be available online and was told they don't have a confirmed date and would suggest ordering from Macy's or Bloomingdales. Are you kidding me?!? You have so little product you are telling me to go to other websites to order? I've got to let this madness go. I'll call my Nordstrom's tomorrow to see if they can hold Krazy Kahuna (thanks Shontay - I was going to pass but no way can I now) and call it good. Good luck hauling everyone!

i hope everybody manages to get what they want from the stores on launch day - it sucks so many of you have been dissapointed!

I had a similar experience when I called about my order. When I asked about Hibiscus I was told I would receive it within the next 2 weeks but they would encourage me to look and see if I could find it elsewhere. No problem MAC. I am sure MUFE and NARS will be happy to take my money.

I was tempted to order the pigment stacks from Macys.com, but I'm gonna be picking them up on Thursday anyway. And my MAC.com order is still pending.
