Ok, guys I can't properly capture the colors in pictures. Weird, because I never had this problem before. Either coral is tricky, I've lost my photo mojo or I need a new camera(me thinks I need a new camera). I swatched Cyndi, Exxhibitionist, Hibiscus and Toxic Tale. Good news: If you have Exxhibitionist, don't throw yourself off a cliff if you can't get hibiscus. That is, unless you're a major coral freak like me. They are close. What separates them is the formula and there is a color difference that I can't quite put my finger on. It's actually making my head hurt. Staring at similar colors and trying to explain them makes me think I need to brush up on my colors. Hibiscus might be more...pink or is it orange? I'm thinking orange. There is a difference, but it is slight, so don't cry. If anything, just be mad that Mac has screwed over the masses by not having enough product. They know how popular corals have been in the past year. I'm glad I got Hibiscus because I prefer Mac lipsticks over any of their lip products. Bad news: If you don't have Exxhibitionist, then you may want to try your best to track down Hibiscus. Cyndi doesn't compare. It's more red, it's less opaque(obviously). Nowhere near as bold. Toxic Tale is too bold. It's a satin. It takes work for most of us to wear. I know I need to wear it with Cherry liner to keep from looking like a demented hobo(still love it, though). Also, it's dry for me so I need to make sure my lips are at their best because this lipstick will show every flaw. So, hope that helps.

Well, I just called and canceled my online order for Hibiscus. I already have one reserved and I honestly don't feel like stressing over the backordered thing. Not worth it. I only need one anyway since I recently tracked down a Toxic Tale backup from a lovely Specktrette!

I did love how Hibiscus wore. I had it under Strange Potion yesterday, and had no complaints about the formula. Really nice quality lippie. The color just wasn't right on me. I keep wanting to put Strange Potion on but then I realize that it's not Thursday and I don't own it yet. Boooo!

This literally made me LOL. Yes, reason number 5645125 showing us that MAC has issues.

I did however use the code to order Krazy Kahuna. By the time I get to my counter it will be at my door so I figured I'd just use it. Well, that and if it's released early because of Nordstrom's half yearly sale I don't want to be anywhere near my local Nordstrom's. Mad house is an understatement.

Since I am going to an event party after the collection releases I called my MAC and asked about the stock- would stuff be there still after ist been released. I was told they only got one shipment in for the release date and the event which blows "( but that since im coming to the event they could put stuff on hold for me which they normally don't do. I reserved Hibiscus swell baby surf usa and sun blonde now I just have to hope no one takes my stuff.

I had my MAC store put Hibiscus and My Paradise on hold for me when I come in on Friday for my appointment. If either one of those swatches too orange on me, I'm just walking out with some pro-palette refills.

I agree with others, I'm kinda done with MAC. Take forever to release info on new collections, and then not have enough in stock? I'm not even buying anything from Surf Baby and I'm annoyed. Off to NARS I go!

I'm actually hoping that the orange comes out on me but i know it wont just because i want it. lol I actually got a couple of nars things on my sephora wishlist so mac can go screw themselves for now (i will continue buying the wipes and brush cleaner from them tho

Surf USA looks so pretty, but I have soooo many blues/teals and I rarely work with them...Curious does anyone know if Swell Baby close to Bough Grey? I have Bough Grey from the LIberty of London collection, and I thought it might be close so I didn't order it. If it is completely different I might run into Henri Bendel and pick it up, even though this will be my biggest haul in months...
