I was so sure I would get the pigment stacks, but now I don't know! Are they must have?

Nothing is really a must have unless you are going to use it IMHO. That said if you are going to pick up one of the stacks I would suggest the SURF THE OCEAN stack. I found the SUMMER STASH ok but nothing that particularly moved me.

Thanks sss215 & EngineerBarbie for the liner suggestions. I'm going to my counter this weekend to figure out which one I want. Chances are I'll come home with Boldly Bare and Chesnut, but I digress.

Thanks. I think I am trying to convince myself I like the Summer Stash. Maybe I will just get Surf the Ocean.
You could also check out Stripdown. I don't know about the color of your lips, but for me, it's the perfect liner to give my lips shape without changing the color that I'm wearing. I love Boldly Bare, also. I'm going to a Macys tomorrow to return this damn Summer Stash thing and a Mac is close by so I can return this Gilded White pencil. If the Mac store has Hibiscus in stock, I will buy another. :sneaky:

ok. well. i was supposed to be checking out KK and swell baby and surf USA, but what did I do? start looking for lenses for one camera and then fooled around and got out of hand at target (and a favorite Japanese market. (um. helloooo umeshu for summer days!), and...dun dun duuuun...get sucked into another digital SLR style camera. sheesh. photography is an expensive habit. i shake my little fist at it..and this rolling pin
getyou.gif
.

if anything is in stock ('cause i refuse to do anything else on MAC's site until i get backorder tracking info) i'll try again.

oh the problems of having a memory that is all of one minute long. le sigh.

back on topic, however, I wore Saffron (and just mascara) out today and lurrve this color! It was just a medium wash of color, but it made me really consider a backup.

I can see how some people are having pigmentation problems, though. I had to rub it with my brush a few times to get as much as I wanted, but otherwise it was a win for me. *girly spiiin!*

Thank you for your kind words. I think I will have someone else drive me for the next while.

I really like hibiscus with NYX orange lipliner underneath :D

I tried Hibiscus with 2 liners: Cherry by Mac and an #40 by Mufe(only at the Mufe boutique and Sephora studio). I love it with #40. Really brings out the orange. With Cherry, it's a bit too red and not as unique. Cherry liner is much better with Toxic Tale.

omg the scariest thing happened to me. I was parking at TD bank and I got so dizzy and lightheaded. I didn't know what I was doing and went over the bump and into the wooden fence :(
I feel terrible since it was my bf's car. there isn't any major damage except some fine lines and dirty scaffs, but the whole thing really shook me up and now I am so afraid to get behind the wheel again. why am I always so close to death? Q___Q I'm lucky this didn't happen while I was going 50 on normal roads. I was only trying to pay off my bill and grab some money for surf baby :( I feel terrible.......! I told him right away about it and he was very forgiving about it. My sister also told me that she would drive me if I was not feeling well. I recovered from heart failure 3 years back (I wrote about it on Specktra back then when I thought I was going to die). It is like I am doomed in life and I am only 23... sorry for being off topic..

anyway, I got to the mall and back home safely and got:
surf USA
hibiscus
my paradise - so pretty, I had to have it even though I never touched marine life. at least I can use the edge and keep the print intact since it is so thick.
careblend powder medium - I wear NC 20 but these run pretty light
prep n prime lash (HG!!)
a bunch of foundation samples from sephora (mufe face and body, mufe matte velvet, nars sheer glow) and that new "ultimate dual exfoliating face brush"
I also bought 4 pairs of shorts from sirens (buy 1 get 1 free)

I still want strange potion and short shorts... but surf USA is lovely. it does remind me of newly minted! I love vegas volt, exibitionist, ever hip, etc so I really love hibiscus. I already have perenial high style and pink lemonade, so do I still need strange potion (I skipped disney - don't shoot me)? Swell baby is really nice but so very similar to bough grey. I love greys.. but it is so redundant.
Sending you huge hugs! I'm so sorry you've gone through all that, and I'm sorry you ran into a fence. :( I'm just glad you're okay!
:haha: See! I thought you had tried it out already. Sometimes, that's what it takes. Sometimes a crap swatch ends up looking fantastic when put to use and vice versa. Glad you're happy with it now.

Thank you soo much :) It makes my day to hear that. At least the fence was not a. made out of metal (it was wood) b. it was still intact when I backed out.. lol

Did anyone think that short short looks like dazzlelight?

Shontay--The same thing happened to me with Macys a while back with Peacocky. I ordered two e/s and the ones that came were not the ones I ordered. I called and the guy said the barcode matched up to what I received and that it must have been put into their system wrong. He told me it would take a couple of weeks or so to sort out at the warehouse. I told him to forget it I would take them to the store and return them. In my case they had the ones I wanted so I was able to get them. It really sucks they can't get this corrected and that your was a sell out item.

Babylard--so sorry that happened to you. I'm glad you were not hurt and hope you will feel comfortable driving again soon.

At least I was able to order it from Mac. I was shocked to see that a few hours after I ordered, it was sold out again. I'm never shopping at Macy's again. It's just not acceptable.

Babylard, thank goodness you're okay!
I'm glad you enjoyed your haul, though.

Today I wore the minty shade from Surf the Ocean on my lid with Swell Baby on my crease and Push the Edge pigment on my lower lashline (with a Barry M. dust and lilac NYX e/s) and it was love.
