MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

I want to but I have the online MAC store blocked for me. Complicated story.

Im from Spain, but live in the US. Applied for MAC Pro membership in spain (my diploma and all is in spanish) so i got the membership and they changed me to an international buyer, I cannot purchase anything online. I live in the middle of nowhere in the midwest, sooo.... have no access to MAC until MAC decides to change my "status".

I feel like a make up immigrant, I have enough with the government and the embassies to also have to deal with this "you are NOT american" stupidity. It's ridiculous. I called monday to fix this, and they said maybe in 10 days or so. By the time I "might" have it fixed most of the stuff will be SOLD OUT. Ill be 3 days late.

So I can't do this collection. I want JW, HP, AMPL... and I was doubting other but. I guess I rely on how popular these products are and if stock survives a couple of days after released.

Darn...I screwed up. I had noticed that the Surf the Ocean stack was in stock, I was going to get it and said no, I will wait, maybe it will stay in stock for a while and I can get it when I order for BO but nope, it's gone again. Stupid me!

Swell Baby won't get out of my mind. >_< Someone kill my lemming for this eyeshadow...is it similar to other greys MAC has released before, and will probably release again? Between it and Hocus Pocus, I wonder which would be the nicer grey? Would it even show up on my NC44ish skin? Been looking for a warmer rather than silvery grey.

I have Swell Baby, and I love it on my skin tone (NC42). I think it shows up nicely, BUT I also plan on getting HP since they're different enough to have both lol! If I had to choose between the two, I'd choose HP since it will be a bomb crease or "outer v" color =)

That's probably due to the special packaging. It's annoying, but I also understand that special packaging produces extra costs. Having said that, if I like LE packaging, I'm happy to spend more cash.

Yes, it's still because of special packaging. There's always a chance I would pay a little extra for packaging, but it really has to blow me away. Surf Baby packaging just doesn't. c:

yeah we had an extra 50p or something added to the cost because they were in special packaging. i won't moan too much though because i know that in oz they have always had to pay more for special packaging items!

I really have a hard time depotting my SB e/s. Wouldn't it be cool if MAC came up with empty quads in LE design? I would love to depot my SB collection into a special packaging quad, though I don't know which one of the five I would leave out.

I've created a quad with Saffron, surf usa, sun blonde and lime ^^

initally passed on krazy kahuna but after seeing it layered on top of hibiscus, i knew i had to get it...luckily i found it on here!

i'd leave out the greyish one. but that's just me. then you can do a nice tropical look with the other ones
