Both glosses look amazing on you! Nitro-Licious O_O... *fans self*

Finally got around to taking two more pics. The close-ups of the lip colors I posted in the swatch thread.

Sonoran Rain (over MAC Boldly Bare lipliner, taken indoors w/o flash)

Nitro:Licious (over MAC Cherry lipliner, taken outside in natural light)

Yes, I was a wee bit heavy-handed but frankly with a color like Nitro: licious you need to either go hard or leave it alone.

I just picked up backups of this and AMPL.

A note about my eye look, that is Hocus Pocus over Make Up Forever US aqua cream in Silver (#3, inner lid) and Anthracite (#1, outer lid and blended in the crease) and Make Up Forever Aqua liquid liner in Black multicolor. On a suggestion from Lianne, I'm going to try this over the #13 Aqua Cream (beige) to see if it comes out more grey than silver. Should be fun!

I finally used HP!
I definitely agree with everyone else who thought HP was the better shadow.
As beautiful as JW is, it just lacks a certain je ne sais quoi that HP has. I love it!
Wish I could have gotten a backup of it... but hopefully it will be repromoted.
Great job, MakeupGirl! :D

stars change... we think something will be in the spot light for a collex and then something else turns out. For as much as I love Christine, I have to admit, the pigmentation, the formula, and the easy application of hocus pocus (not to mention the color) are spot on.

I doubt ill hit pan on this, cos Ive only hit pan on carbon and vanilla... but... getting a backup was tempting.

Well, I missed out on Jealousy Wakes but I got:

  • Hocus Pocus
  • Sparkle Neely Sparkle
  • Caqui
  • Sonoran Rain
  • Evolution Revolution

I tried all of the the lipglasses but have yet to get to the eyeshadows. I started off wearing Sonoran Rain lipglass yesterday but I felt it was just a bit too bright to go with my eye look so I tried to toned it down a bit with Lancome's Oh My lipstick which reminds me a lot of Mac's Honeyflower (I haven't done a side by side comparison yet though). But I actually ended up loving this lip combo! I can't wait to try Prance with Hocus Pocus as others have done. I've been wearing Prance a lot lately. In fact, I would imagine Hocus Pocus would go great with Dalliance as well.

Still hoping to get Jealousy Wakes though.

Temptalia's got a poll for people who bought or didn't/couldn't buy Jealousy Wakes. If everyone who missed out on JW goes and votes, maybe Mac will take notice and bring it back? Wishful thinking I know but might as well give it a try: http://www.temptalia.com/did-you-buy-jealousy-wakes

Why the need to compare the bloggers' creations against each other? HP is a grey, and JW is a green. 2 totally different colors so how can you honestly pit them against each other? I could see comparing Sonoran Rain to Nitro in order to make a decision about a purchase or comparing JW to other greens or HP to other greys, but trying to run a popularity contest about which blogger is the "best"? That seems sooooo unnecessarily rude & messy.

So far I love everything that I have purchased from this collection. The only product that is a bit tricky for me is AMPL because I am really fair. I am trying to figure out what eye color combo & blush would work best with it. Any suggestions?

My order shipped with Neely, Nitro and my Caqui backup. I'm excited to try Nitro now. I admit I don't really care for the name, but that's not really important. I'm glad I never wanted AMPL now that it's gone.I flirted with the idea yesterday, but I decided to leave it up to those who really want it. Any more ideas on what to do with Jealousy Wakes?

I don't think people meant it like that. Everyone said both shadows were great but they preferred one over another. I don't see anything wrong with them preferring one over another. People can have their opinions.

even though i haven't even got my first order yet, i'm pondering nitro and SR. if they are still around when i place my semi-precious order they might just hitch a ride home to me. really thinking i'd like to try nitro over two of my kat von d red lipsticks.

I wear the lightest foundation that MAC sells, and I bought both glosses. Sonoran Rain is a more everyday wearable red for me. Nitro is a more going out, go big or go home, look at me type of color. I will definately use both, but I think that Sonoran Rain will get more use.

I've been thinking about picking up either Nitro:licious or Sonoran Rain. But I dont know which one to go for!

Just sitting here thinking, Hocus Pocus could be great over French Quarter GPS for those of you who have it. I think I need to try that this week.

I missed out on this whole collection. June 21 I was celebrating my official 5 month pregnancy with my first child at age 37 (a long time coming), so my hubby was busy buying me belly bump tops and I completely forgot. I remember even walking past the MAC counter and this still didn't pop into my mind that day and before I knew everything I wanted is gone. But I also stupidly thought that this was going to be around for 6 weeks, should've know I couldn't trust them.

You all look so good with your looks and I am severely jealous. I might be hunting down JW and AMPL on evil

, my wallet hurts from the gouging.
