Inert n/p is a great neutral nail polish for those who like nudes with an oompf. If you apply one coat - neither too thick nor too thin - the grey undertone will come out much better than when applied with a thick layer. With a thick layer, the color comes off much more beige. However, if you want to stick to the GP color scheme, one medium layer will give you an awesome finish that is a nude beige with hues of light grey and lavender.
The color looks very similar to the combination of Vacant l/g over Restrict l/s, i.e. a beige with nuances of lavender depending on the light. It also goes well with beige-cool-rosy-ness of Strada, especially if you go for a look that is neutral but still very fashion-forward. If you have an NW complexion, this color looks stunning as the pink undertones in your skin will complement the lavender-grey in Inert. Having said that, Inert should also look great on NC complexions if you look for a cooler nude n/p.
The texture is creamy, nor too thick or too thin, though you need to measure it correctly to get it right with one layer/stroke. It's definitely one of those n/p that people will love on the second sight, but the oomph, i.e. the grey-lavender hues, are definitely worth the money. IMO, it is equally suitable for both men and women as it is a rather gender-neutral color that does not scream n/p at all.
Finally, the design of the bottle is stunning as it looks and feels as luxurious as the compact. Mind you, it is very heavy, so you probably don't want to travel with it.

For those who bought Guise piggie (or are tempted to buy it): Try it out on the lower lashline. It is an awesome metallic highlighter that will last all day. You will need a tiny amount of product and I recommend the 212 brush. Simply dip the brush into the lid, wipe of excess on the back of your hand and place the brush in one single step starting on the outer lower lashline and use a slight downward movement to spread out the piggie. Repeat the step to make the line thicker and/or move toward the inner corner. If you experience fall-out, it is probably because you have too much product on the brush. Once the product is in place, it will not move at all. Guise adhere to your skin like glue. This is great, but this also means that if you have a mishap, it it harder to correct.
In any case, it is a wonderful product to open your eyes, make you look fresh and awake w/o looking overly made-up. As it is more of a neutral silver, it is also not in your face as many metallic shades can be, and thus, it is certainly suitable for more mature lids, especially as it does not move.

I didn't get anything! I bought 200 bucks of perm stuff to stock for spain...wipes, cleanser, MU remover... I also got 4 perm lippies (I also caved with the black knight although i'll prolly never use it). I would have wanted elude if it wasnt as costly or if it was more covering or lighter. I lover inert... im having a hard time nt buying it and also with the nude lippie....
oh man... i know that this collection is special and that is why it was going to have a higher price tag but my goodness! i actually can't afford anything 
Elude is 44 freaking pounds!! the piggies are £25... and the lipsticks are over £20 too. i might have been able to scrape together some money if it weren't for buying presents for family and friends this month plus sony shafted me with my wages this month and only paid me half my comission!! And are now being super slow at sorting it out! this makes me so sad

I'm certain you will be pleased with both products. Remember to use Guise very sparingly if applied on the lower lashline to avoid fall-out. I do love it as a simple but sophisticated product to lighten up my face.

Hyper n/p is the most eclectic of this collection as it reflects blue, violet, and green depending on how the light hits it. It reminds me of one of those exotic insects that look disgusting but fabulously exciting at the same time:
While the base color flashes blue and violet, the frost finish adds tiny green micro-glitter to it, which makes this product so special and distinctive from other polishes out there. One thin layer is enough to get an opaque coverage and the multi-color "insect"-effect. If it wouldn't be for the green glitter in it, I'd say you can pass, but the green elevates this polish to a very sophisticated level that does not look tacky or cheap (or too goth), but makes a fashion forward statement.
I believe that due to the coolness of the color spectrum, the full effect is best achieved if you have pink undertones as the blue, purple, and green will come out more strongly than those with NC complexions. By all means, Hyper can be worn by a wide range of skintones, but the effect might be different.
Personally, I think Hyper is a very cool toe n/p that combines "rocker chic" with a "21st century goth" style.

Hahah! I've heard some ridiculous pronunciations from MAC staff before. One girl kept calling Almost Noir Pearlglide "Almost NOY-err", and another pronounced Rubenesque (the Paint Pot) as "Rubb-un-squee" !I love how the MAC cs girl called it PUG short Uwhen I talked to her last week. Ascension n/p is probably the most versatile product of the GP n/p as it can work on its own or it can be layered over other n/p. If applied in one layer, you get a grey-translucent color that reflects purple and bottle green and antique gold hues in a duo-chrome manner. If you want the antique-gold and especially the bottle green to come through, I'd say you need at least two layers to get a more vibrant duo-chrome effect. The color is much more subdued than Hyper but more vibrant than Inert. In terms of color-matching, it best reflects the sparkle that you can see in Outrage l/g, which also features the antique gold and green hues that you can find in Ascension.
The texture of Ascension is thinner than Hyper or Inert, thus applying multiple layers works well w/o turning your nails into a (nasty!) acrylic-fake-nail look, i.e. where the nails look super thick in the most unflattering way (no offense to any acrylic tip wearer).
What makes Ascension so versatile is the fact that it can be layered over Inert or Hyper, giving those n/p an oomph that is most extraordinary. Ascension over Inert brings out the lavender by complementing the grey-purple tint and adding a duo-chrome layer. Ascension over Hyper will give you a look-at-me beetle effect that simply looks stunning as the color spectrum oscillates between blue, purple, green, and gold depending on the light.
I'm really pleased that Ascension does tie all three GP n/p together in a rather cohesive way (or edited manner as liba would aptly say), which makes it easy to create many different looks depending on your mood, gusto, and occasion.
If I only had to choose one, I'd had a hard time deciding which one I want.
