That's the bright side of looking at it! I'll take it. Hopefully I will get everything today. It seems like forever since I've been waiting to try Camden Chic.

The Android phone won't let me post pictures, so I will post mattene swatches this evening. I liked how Camden looked on me. Marche swatched well, but I still recommend using a sponge applicator.

I have package waiting with the Prep and Prime lip it is supposed to help those problematic mattenes go on smooth.  When I get my paws on it, I will let you know.  I am really looking forward to try it.
I have to agree the matene formula is creamier and it did take a much steadier hand to apply my Eden Rouge but the color payoff makes up 4 it... I'm actually considering buying a quality lipbrush to help apply all my l/s... Does anyone know of a good one???

My packages finally came and I love Camden Chic! On me, it's like a burnt terracotta orange-brown. I also like the slim casing. I'm picking up Eden Rouge and Fashion Nomad ASAP. I'm now in the habit of applying P+P Lip before applying my lipstick, and the application of Camden Chic was very smooth. I thought Camden Chic would be close in color to X-S, but Camden Chic has more red in it while X-S has more brown. I'm very happy with Camden Chic.

It's very brown-red on me. I like the colour and I have no trouble getting it on smoothly - I just wish it wasn't as soft.

I've now got it on with a touch of translucent powder over the top to try to 'dry' it out a bit so it's a bit less creamy. It would be nice to be able to make it work - I hate wasting brand-new makeup. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm very glad that you're happy with yours! :)

I'm buying a lipbrush ASAP!!! I can see the potetial over-application wasting due to its creaminess...

This is probably irrational, but lip brushes gross me out. They just seem unsanitary somehow, which I know intellectually is ridiculous since I'm anal about keeping my brushes clean. It's the whole mouth thing, one lippie to the next, etc. Yukka.

I'm sure a lip brush would help. I know it would make me reach for Approaching Storm more (at least in the fall/winter). I like applying lippies from the tube and the shape of the PLW lippies really isn't conducive to that.

I guess I'm going to have to suck it up and get a couple since I want to get the Plum lip palette.

I went and got a couple things from this collection this morning. MAP, OTH and Delectable. I thought I would be skipping the e/s but Both the eye shadow duos are so pretty.

You are so awesome with the comparison swatches. I was hoping it would be different enough from X-S to justify buying both.

They're definitely different. I don't think my picture accurately captures the differences because of overcast lighting, but the red and brown differences are visible. I'm happy to have both.

Just buy a handful of lip brushes and you will be fine. Using a lip brush (if it is a fresh one) is much more sanitary than using it straight out of the tube. :)

I would check your local CCO. I've seen a lot of lip brushes lately (even ones that were d/c a few years ago). I stocked up a ton of them.

When I applied it, I built the color up in layers straight from the tube to get a stronger color. I noticed that the more layers I added, the creamier it got. I don't know if applying it in several passes will make a difference for you. Maybe blotting it after application could help too.
