Saw Temptalia's review of Star Dust. It's a yellow pink. :( While very pretty I am not sure it will suit me. I wish it were blue pink with sparkles. :(

Actually anything that looks nice on Temptalia doesn't work for me. That's why I always read her reviews. :D She's very reliable this way.

I love that subtle wash of color on her. She usually wears her blush much heavier and I prefer this on her than what I usually see

I'm stalking Chanel's website. I want this collection so badly. I wanted an emoticon that exploded with excitement and anticipation, but this will have to do.

Wait, the collection is going up soon? :happydance: I guess I should stalk, too. I don't know if I'll buy immediately, but I just love when a brand gets new stuff.

According to my SAs they are supposed to ship to counters on 1st. I pre-ordered the l/s, np, and blush when I saw the color story last month. Not sure on quad yet.

When I called chanel.com said they'd have it online second or third week in October. So hopefully that means it will really go up today...that's how it usually works when you call them!

I really want the quad! I am hoping that it is similar in texture and quality to the Topkaki (sp?) quad.

I'm a bit disappointed tbh, i hoped for L'Impatiente to turn out darker ..Btw, is the RA Velvet formula really as drying as T says? I have no experience with that formula and if it's really drying i'm almost obligated to skip this l/s, as i often suffer from extremely dry lips already

Aww man, i was so excited for this ..

On me the RAVs are probably not as drying as on Temptalia....they don't go on patchy or anything like they seem to on her, but they are drying enough to where I wouldn't wear them 2 days in a row.

I'm really on the fence about this l/s right now. Leaning more towards skipping it atm .. Aw well, i still have Star Dust and Malice to look forward to i suppose

I'd say pretty much the exact same thing. If you're in a dry environment, you would notice it more. For instance, my office has super-dry air, so I don't wear mine here, but I don't have a problem wearing them in other places. My lips are a bit dry normally (I need to remember to keep myself hydrated).

L'Impatiente may not be as dark as it is in the tube, but I'm still interested. It didn't look as deep on the other blogger either, Karen I think (can you tell I don't follow blogs).

I'm a life-long sufferer of dry, chapped lips and the RAV formula doesn't bother me too much. It can be a bit drying after a while, but not to the point of my lips bleeding. I have no idea what that's about! Something is seriously wrong if that's happening and I would think that's an extreme exception to the overall wear of the lipstick. As long as I exfoliate my lips and moisturize before hand, I can wear RAVs with little issue. MAC's Prep+Prime Lip is also good to use.

I was hoping it would be darker as well. I really wanted it to be as deep as it looks in the tube. Seeing it on Temptalia, I feel like I have other shades that are similar already.

Exactly what i was thinking when i saw the swatches. It looks very dupable to me, and the fact that it's kinda drying even made me more hesistant about getting it.
Anyway, just took a quick peek at Guerlain's upcoming holiday collection (i knew i shouldn't have lol ..), really loving the sight of the Perles du Dragon Meteorites, might get those instead of this l/s :)

I agree. I was so excited for L'Impatiente! It's not a true "red-black" and I feel like the name is a bit misleading. I was expecting a really dark red. When I saw it on Karen, I kind of had my doubts but was still interested. Then I saw T's review and it's not the color I was hoping for at all.

Also, Musings of a Muse reviewed it here http://www.musingsofamuse.com/2012/...e-allure-velvet-lipstick-review-swatches.html and it just confirmed to me that it's not as dark as I would like. It doesn't look matte on her, though. Wonder what that's all about.

I like the looks of the shade more there on her arm, but she must have added gloss on top in the lips pics?
