My order is still pending, and I ordered around 2am Dec. 23rd

....Something must be wrong here...so I contacted MAC's order department before I get too worried. I really want my Stereo Rose... and I refuse to use evilbay to get it -____-
Mine was ordered early on the 24th and didn't go out until yesterday. They were closed and didn't ship until then. Mine was delivered today; yours may still arrive as well. :)

Both. Stereo Rose has enough color to be a blush and a highlight. Sometimes that's all you need on the cheeks. When I put it on I was able to see the color and it just brightened my face, so I didn't feel the need to add a blush on top. (Same thing happened with Superb MSF the other day. I opted out of wearing a blush and received many compliments).

If I want a deeper flush to the cheeks, then I would use it as a highlight in conjunction with a blush.
It really just depends on the look you are going for :)

I prefer to add blush since I wear a full face of makeup most of the time. But I'm sure I will wear it alone at some point (lazy makeup days) hehe

Yesterday I wore it with the perfect cheek and it was nice and dewy just gorgeus. Today I wore it with Mighty Aphrodite Blush (peach side) and I was LIKE DAYUMMMMMMthat's looks hot. LOL
although I think for most it would be too coraly or summery but I love it, brightens up my face.

After looking at T's swatch's of the MES (http://www.temptalia.com/mac-apres-chic-mineralize-eyeshadows-reviews-photos-swatches) , I'm so happy I ordered Silver Birch & Fireside. Her swatches reconfirmed the beauty.

Liba, if you are reading, your shade descriptions were a big help as well!
Thanks so much, darling. I totally suck at taking decent photos, so I try to make up for it with detailed descriptions. I don't want to be an indiscriminate enabler, but I did loooooove this collection.

I love it alone. It's nice to have a product that is a blush and highlight in one!

Silver Birch looks the smoothest of all of them, especially when applied with a slightly damp brush - it had a really metallic sheen that way on me, and my lids aren't very smooth. I'd say Winter Pursuit and Fireside were the next smoothest, while FaM was entering the sparkle zone (though could be made to look really smooth if you did a dry layer and a damp layer over carefully). Ice was the sparkliest one, where you get a textured effect (but I think that's the look it's supposed to have).

I feel like I'm set for neutral but non-boring looks for the whole year with this collection! Here's hoping I can keep myself in check when it comes to casual MLBBs and blushes well into 2013. I sure am not running out of options now that I hauled the heck out of this one.

Personally the MES felt nothing like Naturally which I hoped for. I just got Hot Chocolate and Stereo Rose which both I am pretty happy with!

I totally agree - they're more like the Glitter & Ice ones than the Naturally ones, but less frosty and fallout-y.

I'm actually kind of jealous of all you folks who didn't need much from this collection - this is probably my first haul that gave me such extreme pleasure AND pain. I don't want to get into an S&M relationship with my makeup, lol!

Is there anyone that has both Cozy up and Delectable and can compare them? thankssssss so much!
Cozy Up = mid-tone, more peach nude effect with brown undertone
Delectable = lighter than Cozy Up by about 30%, much more yellow/apricot

I think they're very different. Cozy Up has that retro 70's vibe, big time, while Delectable is more of a modern, off-beat shade. I love them both very much on me, but I'd say Cozy Up is probably a little more wearable overall across more skin tones.

I'm right along side with ya in the wallet pain department lol. I bought more than I intended but I know it's all stuff I will actually use :)
