I have had the same problem.  I originally wanted to order a blush or two, then changed my mind.  I was sticking to it, then I saw these pictures and now I think I want Bareness and At dusk.  I looked through her instagram and I didn't see anything about a blog.
I think we're all kinda of confused at this point. I knew once I saw swatches that this is going to have to be an in store purchase. The 2 coming soon Skinfinishes I wanted to buy as soon as it launched OL but it looks like that may not happen. I'm thrown that Liba feels like STF leans orange & is akin to COTU, interesting. I really like COTU but it's not something I reach for or think about wearing very often, I don't think that will put me off of buying STF because its still an EDSF. I love WOG, I still have BNIB Glorify that I'm too hesitant to try, yet not able to let go & Superb is one of my HG highlighters.

I sold my Glorify. No use for me at all. It did find a good home tho!

That's so weird cuz i didn't have a prob with those blushes either :hmm: must be a skin type thing as well. I love blush (blush whore), and tend to pile lighter shades in as well, even with great pigmentation. So even if these did have a lack of it, I'd still be fine with piling it on. Seems like these blushes are either one way or the other, split evenly among different opinions. I guess everyone should just check them out for themselves before buying them, if they can. BH is definitely more along the lines of MM (orangy) and less so compared to supercontinental (corally). And yes, FI is a burnt orangy red. You sneeky lil shit! Get outta my makeup!!! :haha:
is this the first time mac put out ed blushes? I don't mind either if it lacks pigmentation long as i can pile it on. If i do get blush i will swatch instore because by pics i don't if i like them or not.

Thanks so much - you know me, I love getting all detailed and analytical with this stuff :p I'm still pretty much one day at a time for now - I've got more tests coming up in a week or so. It's amazing how much one gall stone attack can take out of your body. It's like every little bit and piece of my body got totally shaken up and everything has to find its way back to its usual place. The trend seems upward at least - I want to keep my darn gall bladder for sure.  As for your question, I wouldn't know for sure, but considering the blushes showed up well layered on top of the EDSF (without foundation underneath), I'd assume yes. I don't wear foundation that often, but I'm still going to go for these blushes because most of the blushes I own are ones that I think look better on bare skin, so these will be really handy compared to what I already have for when I do. There's still other tricks to try out anyhow - I need to try them right after moisturizing over bare skin - that might bring out the color too.
Hi Liba, So glad to hear from you! About the health concerns, I can completely empathize, as a matter of fact I sent you a PM right when you got sick & knew they want to take your GB out. I'm unsure if you read it, as I know first hand the complexities of being very ill every day & that you may not have read it. That doesn't matter to me at all, but If you are in a place where you want to talk about it, please, please don't hesitate to PM me. I may have some info that could help you make a more informed decision about your healthcare that I've learned from my own path with GI issues. Mind you, I'm still stumbling down that path every moment of every day... much like a teenager girl wearing her 1st pair of stilettos, walking down a cobblestone path. But if you want to talk stones, I'm here for you. Thanks for letting me know about the powder vs. liquid foundation aspects. Great point about them showing up over the EDSFs & those being powdery, gel ish...

Whisper of guilt is one of my all time favorite products. I seriously love it. I am waiting for Definitely Defined SF to come in stock. I think Double Def is already too much like what I already have, and Shape the future is just not screaming at me as a color I would really wear. I think the red/orange tones are a bit much for my personal taste. I tend to reach for softer pink/lavenders and sometimes slightly coral-pinks. I think the pinky-silver of Definitely Defined will be a nice alternative to soft gold of WOG. Although, we haven't seen any swatches so I can't be sure what Definitely Defined will really look like.

I'm glad I picked up At Dusk but this making me think I need to get Bareness as well. The longer and longer I wait for the EDSFs the less interested I'm becoming. I might just pick up Bareness and be done with this collection. I just hope that Baking Beauties doesn't follow the new MAC trend of "coming soon." I don't know what's worse: stalking for items and having them sell out in 5 minutes or stalking for items only to have them "coming soon" for a week.
Who even knows if these are going to pop up a week later? I don't think we can base the FS coming soon ES fiasco with the EDSFs coming soon BS. It pisses me off that they launch this stuff & it's not even complete. From what I understand is that the PMs from AGs were coming soon as well, right? I don't know b/c I'm not into the PMs, so I'm unsure of what their status was upon the OL launch. I just think doing one launch every week is ridiculous & they can't even launch the entire collection. WTF MAC? ED was the collection I was waiting for, I'm thrilled that they added blushes & I'm very intrigued by them, but it's the EDSFs that I was most lusting after, now I'm unsure if I'll even be able to get my hands on it b/c I know my regular counter did not TT them in. I don't know where to even go Thurs. will I have a better chance of getting them if I go to the 1 MAC FS store in town??? Or should I just go to my regular counter Sorry for my insomniacal (nice word huh?) rant for the day...no sleep, not for 5 min. Ugh.

I'm NC50 so when I initially swatched SV in the store, I wasn't impressed with it, but I had already bought it at that point.  I sold it to another Specktrette and not too long after that I saw a few posts from others (Glamqueen is one that comes to mind) within the same skin tone range raving about it.  I went back and gave it another chance and now I love it!  If it weren't for that, I wouldn't even give At Dusk another thought.
It's great to know that I'm not the only one who makes a (sometimes rash) decision that I don't like something upon 1st or 2nd swatch, sell it, regret it & than stalking sales to get it back. I'm really trying not to do that anymore.

If I remember correctly the Archie's PMs were coming soon for the PRO release, but we're available when the collection launched online.

I'm that cat, that just shows up at your door one day, gives you 'the look', a little meow, possibly a little bump on the leg while purring. Eventually you take me in, b/c you feel bad for me when really I am sneaky & it's my wily cat antics that you dig! LOL. Now get me the bed next to the Alex, nothin' to see here just takin' a 17 hour long nap...

Well it would be a bit interesting, other than the fact that I can't swim. But I'm sure if I was a mermaid, that problem would be fixed, lol. The Little Mermaid was my favorite movie when I was a little kid. I remember Splash, wow I haven't seen that movie in a looooooooooong time!

On topic...I'm not 100% sure of my skin tone, I'd say probably around NW15...I'm trying to decide if At Dusk would be better or Pink Buttercream Pearlmatte. I'm in love with the design on the Pearlmatte but I'm trying to force myself to not buy it just because of the design.

I don't know what's happened but I've become addicted to blush lately. & I love to pile it on too. I know sometimes it's a little much but it's fun & there aren't enough people who really dare to rock a lot of blush...guess that's the 80's lover coming out in me. I know this is a very stupid question/comment but I get really confused by "coral". It's just a mix of pink & orange, correct? Or does red get thrown into the mix? On the pictures of the girl wearing the blushes FI looks like it's got some pink in the mix, yes? No?

I'm NW 15 as well and I got At Dusk on Erine's recommendation. I havent received it yet but I'm sure it will work for you. Did you pick up Veronica's Blush PM from Archie's? I've seen a couple people say that Pink Buttercream is very similar to Veronica's Blush. You may not need both - unless you're like me and absolutely love VB!

Every time I think of selling it I just can't do it. Now, if I get Double Def & it works for me, maybe I'll feel better about finding it a new home. It's like Sweet Heat, I didn't think I even took it out of the box, but have I tried to sell it? No... Am I the only one that just has a bunch of unused, untouched MU laying around, yet I can't stop buying more of it??? I think I need to start a project where I pick a certain color scheme, palette, collection or product(s) that I have to use if I'm wearing MU for a certain amount of time. That way I can truly assess whether or not something works & if not let it go. Maybe this would help me destash in a more logical way. The only issue is that is the fun of MU it's like putting a puzzle together & pulling pieces from a bunch of different places.

May I ask what your skintone is? I think you might be surprised by the way an orange toned blush or MSF can look on your face, it's just a matter of finding the right one. I really have come to like the right oranges on my cheeks, but in LS, I couldn't do it. Then I got Scarlet Ibis & once I paired it with the right LL, I was shocked by how much I really loved the way it looked. I'm even thinking that Ablaze could be a winner for me, total shock! I'm not 100% sure b/c I had a true, very scary, panicky meltdown when I was wearing it out for the 1st time on Thurs. I haven't worn anything since. Ugh, horrible. Anyhow... I feel like I'd be really heartbroken to get both Def Def & STF in my hands. I'm exploring bronzers now too, so I'm really thinking I **need** Double Def, I just don't want it to pull orange on me b/c orangy bronzer no bueno.
