Erine, can I pick your brain? How would you wear Daydreaming? What other shadows would you pair it with? Also, Can you give me one or two shadow combos for Lady Danger? Thanks. :D
I posted a couple pages back a bunch of colours to wear with it. One combo that i adore is motif (inner), DD (middle), bright fuchsia pigment (outer), winged liner For LD i like any neutral eye such as naked pigment (works on all skin tones, but can also use naked dark)(lid), saddle (crease), embark (outer, bottom lashline) Or A monochromatic look with Motif (lid), rule (softly in crease), red brick (far outer to keep it soft. Too much red brick can make eye look too much and can clash with the bold lip)

I've gone and ordered SLN.  I'm actually a bit nervous about it arriving because I don't own any orange lipsticks, so I'm worried whether it's going to look weird against my pale colouring.  But it looked so pretty in the promo picture on MAC's site that I couldn't resist it. I've actually got a huge case of skipper's remorse over Daydreaming.  As soon as I saw that it was a veluxe pearl coral, I knew that I had to have it, but when swatches went up on Temptalia, I was massively underwhelmed, so I decided to go to my nearest counter and buy some permanent stuff instead (Lady Danger, for instance).  But now I've seen different swatches and I'm back in love with Daydreaming, but it's too late. :(
Why too late? It's still available :)

i depotted firecracker today and was reminded just how pretty it is...

i made a 'summer' 15-palette...with all my shadows from to the beach, neo sci-fi, lure, moonbathe and surf baby (clearly i don't own all the shadows from all those collections!) i'm going to try and be strong against daydreaming....

I like your idea of a 'summer' palette!!! How can you resist Daydreaming? Go for it before it's gone and you're left dreaming about having skipped 'Daydreaming'

Nice swatches Erine!!! How did you lie SLN?
LOVE it! It's definitely not like any other orange mac lipstick! It's a straight up orange, no red, no coral. It's a lighter shade of orange than the others like morange and NO. It's like comparing orange juice (lighter) to an orange peel (morange). Make sense?

Thanks a lot. I was thinking of some sort of Naked/Saddle look. I'm surprised Daydreaming is still available. I'm actually surprised about the lipstick, too. People are afraid of orange, I guess.

I received SLN &Daydreaming today. I love 'em. I wore SLN &it doesn't look bad, I just didn't do my makeup very much today and was tired when I tried it on. So I expect I'll love it even more once the rest of my makeup looks good. Do not be intimidated by it!

I think l might be eating my words about SLN... I put it on very, I mean very sheer and it is pretty. So pretty. I can already tell it is going to brighten my face.

Happy for you!!! Mines comes tomorrow.. Would you like it if you go a little deeper on the application? Smooth?

Very close! NO is one shade brighter, but other than that, they're the same.
I agree. Morange and Neon Orange are extremely close. But for some reason, I prefer Neon Orange on me. I remember someone comparing them in another thread months ago, but I can't remember the reason given for why one looks better on me over the other even though the colors are practically the same. I think one has slightly more red in it or something.

I like your orange juice/orange peel description. Makes perfect sense. I wonder how this will look on me. I don't think I have any lipstick that's a true orange. I can get a sense of how orange it will be from your swatches. My stuff will be delivered tomorrow. I'm nervous now.

Try working with it if it doesn't look right. If you have an orange liner, like WAB or entertain me, line and blend with the liner, then apply SLN. This will give an orange gradient that will help the lipstick be more wearable. That's how i plan on wearing it since there isn't a liner of the same colour. I HAVE to wear a liner with all bold lips.

Lol, I have absolutely no problems using liners. Love them. I plan to also experiment with Auburn and my new Ablaze liner. I'll probably try Plum too.
