Whoa. I never heard about the Nude until just a couple days ago. All they used to have was Blonde and Brunette. The Nude could well have been better than the Blonde, but that was the lightest i could find at the time.

Good luck finding a good deal!

EDIT: a quick search suggests that Nude is new this year. That 'splains it. It's beautiful.

The pointed foundation brush is too small for foundation and too big for concealer.

I find it perfect for under eye concealer, actually! But I do agree, it's an awkward foundation brush.

I'm so excited for this collection, I love so much of it. Waiting until the end of May will be painful, it seems so far away lol.

Hey! The only MAC brushes I have is 266 for my fluidline and 187 which I don't even really reach for. I heard 217, 239, 219 and 109 are must haves? not sure lol. I was looking at sigma brushes too, but can't pull the trigger with all the LE going on!
i have the 217 which kinda goes hand in hand w/my 224 (i use daily). im tryin to get more creative uses for 219....now i got 109 on my radar.

Caliente is really that gritty? I'm so torn now! The color is beautiful, but gritty lip products and I don't mix well.
Personally I didn't have any problem with any of my Dazzle lipsticks, but then again I never noticed the grit in Dazzleglass either. If there's one drawback to the Dazzles I own, they can be a little sheer underneath all the glitter and frost (although I like that too, personally). They're somewhat like the frost lipstick version of lip gelees.

Well it sounds like I may pass on Caliente also since it might be too uncomfortable to wear. Maybe I'll get feel my pulse instead.

I'm still getting Caliente! I'll just put some mac mineral lip balm over it and make it shine even more lol! the color reminds me of this benefit lipstick called Dancing Darling I had like 10 years ago. it was The perfect nude for me with silver sparkle I have missed it dearly. so maybe I'll get more than one lol cuz my mom like to jack my stuff and use it all up when I try to make it last as long as I can.

Yes. At least 4 brushes for a simple look. Every day.
I found I cut down on cleaning costs by using de-makeup towellettes to wipe down the brushes after each use.
That wipe-down time I use to remind myself to put on the 50+ sun protection on my face, neck, shoulders and cleavage.

Caliente really isnt that bad, you can feel that it has those little glitter pieces when you rub your lips together but its not an overall uncomfortable chunky glitter feel (Cant stand it).. For a sparkly glitter lippie its definitely not the worst ive tried. Its definitely not my colour though :p

I was going to post the same thing. Or a I use the smallest foundation brush to apply concealer and blend it in with my beauty blender.

Hmm. I don't think I used my pointy foundation brush yet. I can't see myself using it for foundation because it'd take ages but it could work for concealer I guess. The one I used the most from the core set is the Contour Brush. I wish they sold it separately too.
what 3 to 4 eye brushes u usually use daily?

Agreed, it really isn't drying or uncomfortable unless you are very sensitive to any texture on your lip. The glitter is very fine, and although you can tell its there I don't find it uncomfortable in the least. I think once people get to see them in person, they will love them!
