I just swatched it yesterday & it is GORGEOUS! & very unique I think. The MAC artist came up to me & said it was his favorite of the collection.

There's no difference in the formula :nope:

Just make sure you use 99% alcohol and not 70%, otherwise you'll ruin all your pigments. And we're talking about Moth PP. I'm not a fan Midnight, and i already bought BG.

I was trying to hold off on getting pressed pigments but after seeing the gorgeous eye looks I have to get at least 2! I want either grey or brown. HELP!! I have navy eyes.

How does the color look on you? Moth is gorgeous!

its beautiful. i was wearing shimmermoss and a darker color in the crease already and then put black grape on top of shimmermoss. its so stunning. and ive had no fallout at all so im really impressed with it

When I checked them out last week, I remember being more drawn to BG and Damson. I thought I would love Midnight, but it just didn't grab me the same way in person. I'm not sure if it was because I was so anticipating seeing it, that it might not have been able to live up to my imagined expectations. When I look at them in a group, my eye does dart between Moth and BG. Isn't Moth a lighter purple/lavender?

I'm curious. What is it about Midnight that you're not happy with? What is it about Moth that is so unique? If you had to pick between BG and Moth, which one would come out the winner?

Yeah neither 70 nor 91 will work. 99 is the key! I haven't seen midnight or moth in person, but i don't wear the dark sapphires hardly ever. I adore deep truth and contrast shadows, but i can't tell you the last time i wore them, so a glittery version would be a waste of money. I've seen pics of moth on peeps on IG and it's gorgeous, but again, i haven't seen it in person. I'm good at imagining colours in my head based on the descriptions mac has listed (despite the shitty colour swatches), and it's described as mauve with silver pearl, so I'm guessing it's something along a lighter, slightly brighter version of mauvement pigment. Either way it sounds pretty. I'll never buy Midnight, but Moth was always a contender in the back of my head. If i had to choose between Moth and BG, I'd go with BG, which is what i did with my initial purchase, even tho i am going back and ordering Moth in another order.

I onlyl got damson and pink pepper b/c they were the most unique for me at the time. I'll slow add a few others, but honestly, they all seemed similiar to stuff I already have and don't wear.

I Swatched Moth at the store and thought it was a lighter version of Black Grape. Reminded me a lot of Satin Taupe. I passed on Moth and got Pink Pepper which is my favorite, Damson, my second favorite , Black Grape, my second favorite too, and my twin, Erine suggested I go back and get the Summer Honey and of course I did. Thanks Twin. I also didn't experience any fall out with these pigments and I applied them using the 215 brush that came with the collection and didn't use a primer and they lasted all day and into the evening.

I went to Macy's and saw all these in person, IDK but I just was not feeling any of these. maybe the fall out on the last set has me skeered. Midnight and Damson looked best in pan. Moth was much lighter than I thought and Pink Pepper looked so much like Tweet Me, I didn't think it justified a purchase. I will probably hem and haw until Damson sells out, but I could not pull the trigger. Maybe if it is still around at the next launch, I will get it. Black Grape was pretty, but I wanted it to be more purple...
