I only saw prices for the lip bag sets. Those are going to run at $39.50 and the eyeshadow palettes are pricey if i remember correctly those are $59.50 or $49.50Does anyone have a price estimate on these?
That one sounds nice but Scene to be Seen sounds a little more up my alley!I don't have an MSF yet either. I am thinking of Centre of Attention.
Basically everything should be around the same price as Glamour Daze collections from last year.I only saw prices for the lip bag sets. Do I need my eyes checked because I seriously don't see how that could swatch purple?
Ok I've searched and searched...
Does anyone have the color story for the 3 kits that have a double-ended eye brush, Extra Dimension mascara and a paintpot... or maybe it was a fluidline. All comes in a nice bag. This may be a store exclusive though. My store is doing pre-orders for it (The Bay)
thats what i was thinkin too cuz in the one pic its REALLY purple but the actual natural lighting pics definitely isnt that violet purple. mac aint doin no REAL purple blush!! u gotta go to La Femme for that purple passion (but even that comes off pinky on me)Some people are going to be upset when they see Lavish Living isn't really purple![]()
It looks more dirty plum that straight purple. They call it violet, which we already know from MAC is usually red violet. The one good thing to remember is, due to the way colors interact with the skin, a very blue purple is often going to appear just grayish on many skin tones - this is probably a big reason why you never see blue purple blushes. Meanwhile, if you get the red and brown balance just right, mingle that with natural skin and the more purplish undertones will come out in a flattering way. I'm thinking about Chanel Notorious, which looks really grayish in the pan, but reads extremely mid-tone dirty purple when applied. It's definitely a balancing act to get a blush to read purple and not look clown or corpse-level wrong.Do I need my eyes checked because I seriously don't see how that could swatch purple?
OK, after seeing all these gorgeous photos I texted my buddy to ask how update went.
He is usually not a Mineralize fan and he RAVED about the blushes and MSFs. I can't wait to see them!! Hopefully soon.
