Yeah, it was me! Lol. I totally agree with you! She tweeted: "Sorry guys. MAC Divine Night. Between the pain killers & camera breaking I've been out of my mind. Had a hard day. Please forgive the typos." So, I empathize with her, but that's a big typo. But at least she fixed it quickly. Was that you that posted on her blog about the error? I was about to but saw that it had already been done lol. I get that errors happen on blogs. T does it, and beautezine does it too with regards to prices and release dates and spelling errors and whatnot, but calling a collection by the wrong name, and by a name with a completely different meaning even, is kinda... ...especially when you're not buying the products yourself, but being sent the products from that company. And i get that they feel rushed to get the products reviews and swatches out by a certain deadline, but this would take like 5 minutes.

I swatched scene to be seen and it was too shimmery. LLB was okay. Not so excited about my Nordie delivery. I wished I had swatched before I ordered but I got caught up in the excitement. Hubby does not like EE on me. He says I looked like I had a lip rash.![]()

Pure Sophistication, Night to Remember vs. Prepare for Pleasure (they looked the same in the tube)
JJJewels did a comparison hereI'm sorry if this has been asked before, but if you have both how do you think Prepare for Pleasure compares to Love Goddess ? I saw Temptalia listed it in the dupe list, do you agree ? My mom has been trying forever to steal my LG so I'd love to get PFP for her if it's similar![]()
very similar indeed. In the tube Prepare for Pleasure has more of a shimmer but they look almost the same on.Thank you !!!! They do look similar, just in a different finish right ?
Here are swatches and comparisons from my collection with Lavish Living.I feel like Sin from NARS is close, just a little lighter and the shimmer is more fine and is gold compared to the silver specks in Lavish Living. Thanks for the comparison! Now I even more excited that I caved and ordered LL.Top to bottom: "Lavish Living," NARS "Sin" and Milani "07 - Fantastico Mauve."
Thank you for the photos!! The blush is soooooo small. Awwww.
LOL king midas bitchslapMy brush evidently only picked up the gold pigment in CoA when I was playing yesterday... guess who wound up with golden cheeks. Not even like glowing summer golden tan... like King Midas b!tchslapped me golden cheek. Oops. Aside from that, really digging this collection so far!
I saw PfP on the SA and it was quite red whereas Love Goddess definitely pulls pink on me and others I have seen. It may vary quite a bit with skin tone. I think if you have pink undertones, they will both pull pink and if you have yellow tones, then PfP will pull more red and less pink. Just myJJJewels did a comparison here![]()

Yes! Don't ask me why I do it that way but, it works for me.I wore Perfectly Poised today and liked it. I just swirled both colors. So you're saying you put on the pink and then the bronze on top of it?
My MA put it on me and I told her it looked very grandmommish! Nothing against grandmothers but it was not the look I was going for.It sounds Old Ladyesque. Like they borrowed the color from Estee Lauder.![]()
I've been wanting to try Paula's Choice as I have been checking her beautypedia and hitting myself when I've found I have bought an expensive item that is not going to work. Her no nonesense approach to beauty really appeals to me, plus the science behind the reviews!I do Paula's Choice Glycolytic Acid peels and I think it is lightening quite a bit of my brown spots (I was a bad girl in the 90s and actually went to tanning beds before I did a little research and found out how bad that is for my skin) and my acne scars. I have read if you stop using the product the brown spots come back but I am really happy with the results. Good price for what you get and no fragrance or unwanted ingredients. I use the glycolytic acid 7% product with hydroquinolone twice a day. Wrinkles like crows feet and 11 lines are still there of course, but overall the complexion is much more radiant and the fine lines do look smoother. My pores are huge so I alternate with the salicylic acid treatment too.
I used the 10% peel on my heels every other day and they are getting to be baby smooth. We are talking coming back from the brink of alligator skin! I use the 10% peel on my face and chest only once a week but one time I got a little unintended sun afterwards and it was a disaster--itchy and peeling for days! I only do that treatment at night now but it is helping.
