Great swatches! I love pigments, I have a hard time resisting them and then I don't give them enough love or I reach for the same few repeatedly!A FEW MORE PIGMENTS![]()

I agree! That elixir is magic! I did grab 1 BU, so hopefully it will last until next year!!Thanks so much! It's a fabulous foundation. I just ran out of my Mineralize cream foundation in the compact and was comparing the two and the finish on the liquid is even nicer and more natural than the cream, plus just as much coverage. It's also a touch dewier, in a good, natural skin sort of way.
They better bring that elixir back next summer - it's amazing! Can you believe, that kitty was a feral cat who had a few litters in my front yard until an organization came by and spayed her and then just left her around, rather than taking her with them. It took time, but now she's the biggest cuddle maniac you could imagine….and before, she wouldn't let anyone touch her and didn't even know how to purr. She's living the good life now! I'm glad I could make you feel a little giddy - that fabulous makeup job certainly made me feel a little giddy.
Thanks everybody!!!
That cat always wants to put her paws on my shoulders and snuggle in like a baby! I think this liquid Mineralize is fantastic. I've got dry skin and it keeps me looking fresh. He actually applied it yesterday with a 188, of all things, but it totally worked…better than the 131, imo. When I took it off, my skin still felt very soft, so that's a good sign.
A trick one of my friends uses is to put the lighter color down the center of the face and the darker shade on the sides of the face and blend them together.
It doesn't come in NW15 - we checked. The cream version does, though. It was time to get door matched again. NC15 still works on me, but it looks a little formal. NW20 had a softer look to it that would be good for daytime or combined with NC15 down the center of the face. NC15 matched to my neck better, though. We also tried NW15 in the cream version. My MA liked it but it seemed like my Matchmaster 1.0 would give that same look, so no need for that.

My store was having an event today so I went in to get my makeup done. It was a new guy who mostly works in Hollywood doing special effects makeup, but he freelances at MAC events too. I asked for RUNWAY and I got it! I only wish I had a decent camera - I took a photo with my laptop's camera, which sucks, but you can see my momcat Mojo being cuddly. You can see how incredible the skin came out - we used the new liquid Mineralize foundation in NC15 with some of the bronze strobe elixir from Temperature Rising, then finished with glorious Centre of Attention. On the eyes, which are hard to see, we used the plum & pink MES from Divine Night, Past Midnight, with the pale color on the lids and the plum color mostly under the eye, mixed with Contrast, to get this really rich, vibrant blurple color. I'd brought Runway Hit in, but we wound up using Brave lipstick with a little Angel gloss on top - looks very much like the way Haute Altitude looks on me, so if I need to touch it up tonight, that's what I'll use. If I can get a better picture later tonight when I go out, I will post it - no kitty in that one, though!
I really like Mineralize foundation. I'm oily/combination - oily in the summer, then I tend to get tightness/dryness in the winter. Mineralize holds up well even with oil - it doesn't break down on my t-zone. I like that the finish isn't heavy or overly matte. It's a natural finish - I wouldn't call it dewy, just satin.Nice pic even if it is a bit darker! It is cute how the kitty wants some attention hehe
I am on the hunt for a new foundation as I am not loving the prolongwear one lately, too much fussing required to avoid looking cakey. Did you like Mineralize? What skin type are you?
Thanks, hon - I felt great all night with that look!I agree! That elixir is magic! I did grab 1 BU, so hopefully it will last until next year!!
That is soooooo sweet of you to open your home to that little stray! I'm a sucker for needy animals too! That's how I ended up with my dog, and LIZARD! LOL Ugh! Sad pet situations get me everytime! Just like I said earlier... sometimes THEY pick US and not the other way around! She looks very well-loved and in control of her attention demands! HeeHee
Your makeup does look fab! Are you able to recreate these looks when your MUA's do you up!? That's always the toughest part for me! I'm spoiled by my fantastic MUA's so I told them they better teach me or just move in! LOL
She's a good kitty who isn't the bossy type - we respect each other and mutually love cuddle time.
Usually if I'm having an MA work on me, I want the sorts of things I can't do easily myself - like dramatic winged liner, etc. There are some things I do best on myself, though - like certain kinds of eye contouring - since I just know my bone structure. What this guy did yesterday on the eyes was really awesome though….I'm going to try and replicate it, but the shaping of the shadow around and under the eyes was so perfect, I'm not sure I will have that touch or not! They were like John Galliano doll eyes. Darn about not having decent pix - usually I have them take a shot and send it to me.

PeachykeenThe only thing that I was interested in that was left at my counter was Lured to Love MB. It's really pretty but kind of disappointed in the color payoff. It looks pretty buffed over Style blush though. Does anyone know of any blushes from MAC that are peachy-pink and super glowy with a bit more pigmentation?
A good natural looking foundation with a good coverage is the mufe HD if you're intrested. it truly looks invisible and the finish is just amazingThank you!
I too orbit around NC20 depending on the season and I tend to lean onto medium or light foundations. I hate cakiness so I usually am in a constant battle between avoiding too much shine (some is alright, that is what blot papers are for) and looking too powdery. I am thinking about asking for a sample to see how it works. It's just that the MAs keep pointing me towards Prolongwear and Studio Fix and me personally I love the finish of Face and Body and I am looking for something similar but with a bit more coverage for days when I have to take it up a notch. My skin is also sensible so good to know that it did not irritate your skin
Thank you! I will have to try to get my hands on it the next time I travel!A good natural looking foundation with a good coverage is the mufe HD if you're intrested. it truly looks invisible and the finish is just amazing
Orpheus is very dark gold all the time - i love it.Thanks! Orpheus seems nice and Raven looks darker than I expected in swatchesI've not used my raven much as I personally don't see much red to it when its applied, its a very subtle blackened burgundy.
it was on my list at one point.. decided against it. I rather do neutral eyes with bold lips... wat about u?Anyone buying any of the eye sets?
Thanks so much! It's a fabulous foundation.

Oh my gosh - Mystery is very green on me. I love it! I wear neutral eyes most of the time for work, so today I wanted to play with colour. I'm wearing Lime Green on the inner half of my lid, Humid on the outer, the golden taupy colour from the Bare My Soul quad in and just above the crease and Mystery on upper and partial lower lash lines. Even my husband who never comments on my makeup liked the look. Very green against my brown eyes.Orpheus is very dark gold all the time - i love it.
Raven is interesting - it doesn't really read it well in swatches, since it iridesces - sometimes it looks blacker, then the angle of the light changes and it has a warm red tone - i don't think it looks burgundy.
In my experience Mystery has the least color payoff - sadly i don't get much green from any angle.
Thank you!! Going to check it outPeachykeensorry for the double post i forgot to quote
