MAC Magnetic Nude Collection (December 26, 2013)

I am planning on getting Morning Rose.  I only want to get one lipglass.  It's a toss up between Oh My Darling and Steel Kiss.  If any of you out there are planning on getting Morning Rose and if you're planning on getting a lipglass from this collection, which one are you going to get??? Morning Rose does look like a very pretty lippie. I just wish it wasn't a damn cremesheen. I'm not diggin Cremesheens anymore. There not a no buy like lustres for me, but with all the gorgeous stuff that's coming out & seeing all the lipsticks I haven't even had a chance to wear I'm going to pass on ME. Hope I don't have skipper's remorse! Enjoy it.

I wasn't able to go to the mall last weekend to checkout MSFN but I did stumble upon Studio Careblend in my stash ( I did not even recall buying this...MAC fairy left it?). I used it today by lightly brushing it all over my face with a 134 brush and then applied At Dusk with a 128 brush that I received recently. There is a difference in how the blush appears! I feel so dumb for applying it on my bare face now *hangs head*. Also I hope I am using the right brush in applying the powder!  Hopefully I WILL buy MSFN this week since I am going back home for the holidays tomorrow, YAY!  Thank you Erine for the help, I would have been clueless! And thank you everyone for sharing your opinions!

I've been using my Studio Fix Powder this summer, but have been longing for a change. I suppose I'll get out my neglected but once very much loved MSFN...& see how it works.

Definitely swatch Superb and FP EDSFs and AD EDB. I don't think MR will pull brown at all on anyone. I think it'd be really pretty on you actually. As far as the shadows, I'm not paying any attention to those. MAC continually rotates the size of these between small and large, yet charges the same price for them, and it's absolutely rediculous, so i refuse to even acknowledge them when they're the small size. But that's just me.

The problem with the lipstick is that T compares it to UD's fiend, which I purchased because it looked so pretty on her, got it home and put it on my lips and they looked so muddy, it was awful. And I usually refuse to buy single eyeshadows, and the only mac e/s i own is dare to bare MES (haha), so I kinda wanna give them a shot

Was the NARS a liquid or cream foundation? Did you use the BB damp?

I can't remember who said they caved and bought Morning Rose once they layered Steel Kiss over it, but I am wondering what the end-result color was? If you're out there and reading this, can you please tell me what the end result was?

I got the 128 Split Fibre Cheek Brush the first time around and i really like it for EDSFs. Normally i use MAC 188 stippling brush, but it just did not do the trick with the EDSFs for me.

I love it too. It's the only brush that I use for the EDSF's. I have even thought about getting a second one.

I was thinking that same thing. I thought it was going to be a little more cool toned. It will be pretty to layer, but I'm gonna skip. A Quiet Roar looks pretty in the swatch, but it looks a bit chalky on the lips. Hell bound would be GORGEOUS over a deep red lippie, but I just don't think I would wear it enough to justify it. Overspiced looks a hot mess. Oh my darling is gorgeous, but is it unique enough? I dunno. I have so many glosses that I am trying to be more selective. I think I might pass on all of them.

I like Karen's blog a lot, but she doesn't post dupes. The colours do look pretty, but I'm not convinced that they're particularly unique. I don't know what I thought she'd sound like, but it definitely wasn't the happy excited squeals she was letting out in the video. LOL

Okay I can cross of Autoerotique because I have NARS Daydream, Pleasure Model because I have Bad Girl Gone Good, and I already have At Dusk. Yes I'm free of the blush section! Operation Low Buy is still in effect it seems!
