Aggh, I feel the same way. Recharge worked for you! It looks so orangish/dark. I'm thinking that there are all kinds of artist tips for using these which is why the video would have been great. lol I was thinking along those lines... like why don't you just use your FM powder

I just ordered the Lavender with the 2nd day ship code

So you actually saw them in person.
I would look like a big oompa loompa with the orange on

that's why I ordered the lavender.. it's the least colourful of the bunch -- but might be a bit more colour than Chanel Rosee (I get the feeling it will be kinda limp.. lol)

Yes, but I have to go back as you can see from the confusion in my earlier post. I think without trying them on, I wouldn't have gotten the one-on-one instruction. Like, she actually demo'd the Recharge liquid on the back of her super-light, warm hand (NC10?). It faded into her skin color nicely, leaving a sort of an orange glow that could be covered w/something light.

So, these liquids do sheer out nicely.
SEE? ORANGE!!

don't have time to be sheering and fiddling normally.. unless Bert is gonna be around.. lol

I tried the illuminate pressed powder all over and it did not work. Which is funny because I was all set to get it. It was way too cool as an allover color. Maybe I applied it too heavily. It gave me a lavendar face lol. I think it is supposed to cancel yellow. I wasn't using it properly, I think it's fair to say. The SA suggested that I try it that way, but arghhhhh --no

I bow to your beauty HG! Gorgeous!

Edit: I've been using my lavender CC pressed powder and am loving it. Not sure if I see too much of a different, but it's just light enough to use as an all over powder if used very lightly. It makes my skin glow.

My SA put the lavender powder on top of the yellow corrector and I didn't think it did much.

The yellow liquid is amazing and can be easily sheered out. I might get a compact for my bag.

I STILL haven't had time to play with the correctors on my own yet, but I wanted to mention something my MA did on me during the FoF event that I thought turned out brilliantly:

I've got dark coloration on my eyelids and eye sockets (to the point where I've been asked what shadow I'm using when I have nothing on) plus prominent brow bones and eyebrows. My MA used the yellow CC on my brow bones rather than a natural colored paint pot and that worked so well. It not only evened out the skin tone, the main thing is that it allowed the brow bones to recede just enough to look less dramatic. It doesn't sound like much, but it made a huge difference on an area of my face that needed just the right touch of perfecting, without going too far towards enhancing or concealing. We put Lilly-White pigment on top of that, which is already one of the only 2 brow bone colors that really work for me. I'm going to be using this trick daily, going forward - it sculpted the critical key point of my whole face!
