MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

bad news ladies, I just spoke to the SA at the Macy's counter and she told me that playland did get pushed back to either the 17th or the 24th in store She wasn't sure if online got pushed back too but she said to just check on the 7th since online launches before the store anyway. I'm pretty bummed and confused like a mofo lol . Looks like I'll be stalking the site all night next week

I wonder why the April launches are being pushed back and if that means By Request will be pushed back too.

Thanks! And idk. The online frenzy and then waiting for it ship and arrive gets me so anxious. I like going in store for the collections. It's also fun to see how the artists wear the collection that day.

i had all 4 taken out at once and it wasn't a big deal - was a little sore, but it got better quickly. I think they would only take all 4 out at once if they already could tell it would be a low complication procedure!

You're always better going to the store to try things in person!!!!!!!

Seriously! I JUST got home from the dentist from having a crown put on. I had a couple freak outs today and cried, even at the dentist's office. They used the nitrous on me to calm me down. When i go back to have the permanent crown put on i have to have a 2nd one done so i get to do this all over again. And then i come home and have to see that shit on here? Not cool!

Here is looks like a true yellow...but maybe it is paired with the pigment and the lipglass?

It's more of a true yellow especially with the gloss.

She's definitely wearing TONS of gloss in this picture and probably the pigment too. The lipstick on its own doesn't have that opacity or texture at all.

I'm taking Liba's cautionary tale regarding that Playland yellow lipstick. I'm likely to skip all lipsticks and just get the coral and fuschia casual colors. Money diverted to Maleficent and Alluring Aquatic

I'd be very cautious about the CCs too this time around. I only saw the pale pink one and the feel of it is different than the original batch - it worked better now on the cheeks and didn't stay greasy, but it was a real mess on the lips. The original ones were much better on the lips, I thought, even though they didn't dry down that well on the cheeks. Procede with caution.

Sounds right. One of my SAs was looking forward to this the most and he was disappointed because it's very sheer. So I'm skipping that one. I have Beverly Hills Muse from Coloured Raine so I'm covered in the yellow lippie department. That teeth pic was definitely TMI.

Me too! I can handle a lot, but have a severe phobia when it comes to anything tooth/mouth related. I have repetitive nightmares about my teeth falling out, the exact same ones, ever since i was a child.

I guess I have more time to think about what items I'll buy because this is the collection I'm interested the most out of all the April ones. All I know is that I'll get Sweet Experience l/s and Hi-Def Cyan pencil. I'll check the rest in stores.

I have that too, so weird. I have a phobia when it comes to anything teeth as well. I've gotten pretty good at overcoming it and going to the dentist, I used to get panic attacks and cry everytime.
