I think mac went too retro with these shades if they had done more recent favorites like Toxic tale, Lollipop loving, Prince Noir, Petals and peacocks, Gladiola etc. the collection would have been more popular.

The fact that PP lipgloss looks nothing like the permanent lg, which is the shade the lipstick was made for is just WTF

That collection snuck by a lot of us! At least the initial online release did. It released early on the evening before and the lipsticks flew in minutes. MINUTES! It was crazy.

Omg me too, literally woke up around 5:30 freaking out that I wouldnt be able to order Hoop, thankfully got to order 1 and came home after work and everything was still available lol what a total shock. Hopefully it will be this easy to get the eyeshadows, I have to have a few butterscotches in my collection.

on top of wonky bidding { I kept track of the bidding up thread } I think people get tired of updates.  There have been 3 releases in my mailbox this past week... that new patent plush or what not and some blushes becoming perm...  I mean how many times do they expect us to go through the stress of ordering crap we don't need anyway.  And what in the world is wrong with having a spring, summer, fall, holiday collection instead of weekly stuff.  Honestly all the other mu companies manage to survive with a months worth of mac updates over the span of a year.   this isn't me and my team low buy talking at all.  It is the fact that I am sure we all have mu and we don't need to have it shoved down our throats every week.  I am so happy I haven't purchased more than a handful of things in past 9 months.  There are a few things I waffled over and kinda regret not getting but seriously.... you know these colors wouldn't be looking so boring if we hadn't had a new red, pink and muted pink get hyped every 2 weeks.  I mean I still get excited over Dior, Nars, and Chanel reds, pinks and muted pinks but they come out every 3-4 months.

You know I was thinking about that when it came to the Riri Viva Glam. I stopped by my local MAC browsing stuff and my usual lady came over and was so cheerful pointing things out to me and went, "Oh have you seen Rihanna's Viva Glam? Would you like one? No really, PLEASE." and I haven't been seeing the hype for it I'm so used to with her other stuff or the other recent celeb collections (Gaga, Nicki) I wondered if it was because there was so much Rihanna back to back that people either were burned out or bored. I know some folks just couldn't get over the frost finish, which was also a different issue. As for this coection I've been mostly disinterested (playland, playland, playland) but I figured if things didn't sell out (and my dang internet was working) that I'd snatch a few things (especially if they're not glazes).

How about MAC bring back Crimzone! I had neither seen or heard of this lipstick before you posted this link but I like that color!
