thank you!  I always wonder if it is the hoarder in me holding onto them.... especially when I do watch  hoarders and the therapist says stuff like you know these have expiry dates too don't you :crybaby:
I don't care how old it is! If it doesn't look or smell weird, and the texture is fine, I still use it. I think expiration dates are just to cover peoples butts in case of lawsuits, which I understand. But we can certainly use our brains about if the products are still good. Keep them cool and dry and sealed and there's no big deal. And maybe don't eat it lol but I don't think anyone other than adolescent boys eats makeup (or just the boys I knew growing up?). And besides, this stuff is WAY too expensive to throw out every six months or a year, and I'll NEVER toss my LEs!!! Side note: I'm wearing Mac chatterbox today and illamasqua Laid cream blush. Looks SO good together. Glad I finally got chatterbox, it's such a good color. Not too light, not too dark, not too bright, not too dull, not too extravagant but definitely unique. Maybe i should give the "grown up pink" from playland a chance.

I'm guilty on this also. I loved the color, but the name was too adorable not to vote for.

Hides head down and goes to the corner.
I liked the swatches I've seen and the reviews I've read. In all fairness, these shades were from a long time ago (1991-2000), so I can only judge based on the online swatches as I've never owned them before (and don't know the texture and wear personally).

Buyer's Remorse: My Hoop lipstick shipped this morning and I'm returning it as soon as I get it. I let the hype get to me and I really don't need (or even want) it. Just the Butterscotch eyeshadow tomorrow!

Wild Bout You looks like a darker, berry version of Queen's Sin. I have them both so I may need to compare them side by side. You are making me want to wear that color now. And no, I don't think it's 80s at all. I think their comments come from the fact that it is frosty looking. Besides, the 80s was the best decade ever!!
Crap~ I want some of your lipsticks. Some idiot has WBY on sale on ebay for $70 ... it cost $14 m'kay? I would love another tube. I LOVE It. Glam for day and Wild Bout You for night. Cus I'm such a ho I wear reds all the time.

or glazes/lustres for the nude look. Now to start a hopefully not 10 yr long campaign for WBY.

and I totally agree bout the 80's if you were not of the hot pink and lime green plaid wearing faction. I hung out with the new wavers/punks/skaters so didn't have big ole hair, weird pony riding emblems on my clothing, and ugh do you remember those pants that were real baggy in the seat and then tapered down at ankle? The little ankle booties were cute tho both with and without heels. nods nods. And makeup was very classy .... despite the frost. I wore frosted nail polish and lipsticks that were deep deep wine red. Most of my friends stuck to standard uniform black which is cool as well. Sigh melting that little maybelline black eyeliner so you could draw a nice line.... other than the burn factor?.... good times

I had owned pink poodle when it came out originally bc it was the color Elle Woods wore in Legally Blonde :) bought it in the Vegas pro store and wore for the two days I had it BECAUSE IT NEVER MADE IT HOME *sob* and it was discontinued before I could pick up another and damned if I didn't vote like a mofo for it to come back lol besides, it was the only lipstick that I actually knew bc the others came out when I was like, 5 yrs old lol Mac reached too far back this time I think

Well, MAC's lip products don't have an expiration date, so you're good there.

They're out on the Swiss store as well. The weird thing is, they're not being promoted on there at all. Like, you have to look at the "limited edition" lippies to acutally see them. Still, Glam's already sold out lol. I'm really trying to tell myself that I don't need Hoop. It's much less of a milky pinkish color that I thought it would be

I caved and ordered 1 Hoop and 1 Pink Poodle lipglass. The sparkles shown in Temptalia's swatches were hypnotizing lol. I have the permanent Pink Poodle and it's nearly finished up, so it was time for a new pink gloss.

I just looked up the descriptions of the 2 and they are definitely different!

The perm PP is described as "pink fuchsia with pinky-goldshimmer" and the BR PP is described as "vivid fuchsia pink".

First up, I have never met anything from MAC I would pay $70 for, most definitely not a lipstick! I'm all about the red lip life too but, I also love my pinks and purple. I'm just a bold color whore.

The 80s were cool but, we had our moments I would love to forget, like tapered ankle jeans, which they started to wear again a few years or so ago. Tragic! The 80s were big and bold and yes, frost was awesome!! I had an Almay black eyeliner that my dad, off all people, gave me. I use to melt it too and fill in my brows, of all things, with it! I had thick, black, eyebrows and would wear either blue or brown eyeshadow, and red lips 95% of the time! Man, how my makeup life has evolved!

@ARmakeupjunkie: you just brought back memories of middle school, after PE class, people lined up at the mirror passing a lighter so we could burn our eyeliner pencils for brows and to line our eyes - bottom only, I don't know why. Good times.

Pink poodle lipglass was one of my first lipglasses from MAC. Funny thing is I just placed it in my B2M bag because I didn't use it. I wish they would have done True Babe instead. Now there was a pink lipglass I could get behind.

This! I remember hanging in the girl locker room with my friends. We used to have to constantly burn our black eyeliner to make it really black. Love it! Aahh. Memories.

I think that Hoop is going to be warmer than both Chatterbox and Viva Glam Nicki, and lighter than those, too. At least that's what I'm hoping. I love my chatterbox, but I definitely don't want a duplicate.
