I admit I'm impatient, I wouldn't say MAC dropped the ball. I just think it's frustrating to those of us who ordered early on launch day & have to wait until next week meanwhile we are so close (in toronto or on.) while people further way received things quicker, etc... but there are worse things that could happen!Of course they're swamped. It's the big summer collection, not only did people race out in droves to buy but many placed a second order as well. Actual human beings work there and I'm sure they do their best to power through shipments as fast as they can. Fed Ex pickup for next day shipping is usually pretty early. I got my shipping notification in the very early afternoon yesterday. I clearly have different standards than many. Free express shipping - one package got to Vancouver overnight no less - more than meets my expectations. They make it clear that they need processing time as well. Getting a product ready for shipment within hours (even if not quite early enough to meet the pickup) on a very busy launch day is entirely reasonable. Better than what I typically get from Sephora, I might add. I get that everyone here is excited to get their new pretties, but I'm about to cue the 'call the Wahbulance' speech.

It happened to me when I bought Film Noir or whenever I go into Sephora to pick up something from Yves Saint Laurent...they look at me like o_0 "oh you mean YSL"My absolutely favourite is when I go into a store and pronounce an item correctly (I speak French) only to have the counter person correct me and try to get me to say it in an Americanized way. Um…no. You want to work at Chanel/Guerlain/Dior? At least learn to recognize the right name when you hear it.
Yes, exactly. Attention people: Chanel Grenat is NOT pronounced 'Green Hat' without the H. And repeating it to me louder and with emphasis will not cause me to lose my ability to pronounce French names correctly (if with a French Canadian accent).

I have the exact same problem, that's why I use numbers now. When I say the names the right way I either get :dunno: or a wrong pronunciation back.
