MAC Moody Blooms Collection (June 26, 2014)

thank god I'm not drooling over anything in this collection my wallet just wouldn't be able to take it everything looks nice though none of the sheen supremes are calling my name more money saved

T's swatches really don't look all that good for a few of the things I was on the fence about. I've now cut my final list down to Deep Fixation, Hidden Motive and Artistic License. This is turning out to be a very simple collection as far as decision making goes.

It's weird, because the shades that I want the most are shades I feel like I can dupe already...



Yes!!! Blooming Mad reminds me of all of this, which I have so skiparoo.

Lust Extract looks like Daddy's Little Girl and Feel My Pulse. Quite the Thing looks like Too Faced Lollipop, Pheromonal and Phosphorescent look familiar too in the Huggable, Minearlize range.

Nightshade did not swatch well at all   The lipsticks look much different than anticipated, but I still like Venomous Violet even if it seems a bit brownish.  At this point I still want Black Ivy and Copperthorn, they are lovely.  Blooming mad did not swatch well to be either, but I like the color. I hope the online date is the 19th.  I need to get this out of my system.

I have WW, DF, and I forgot about Gilt Gourmet. It seems sooo close to Copperthorn. I guess Copperthorn is the Rose Gold version. I am still torn about some of the other things. Not the lippies though. Probably one of them if that.

Moody Bloom is so pretty and subtle. @liba you were right, this is totally my type of color. And it will look perfect with a teal eye. I may even consider a back up, after I try it. Wonder why neither Karen or T was sent Green Room. Phosphorescent look pretty, too, but I think I'm good with Dreaming Dahlia for my sheer coral. So my final list is

Moody Bloom
Deep Fixation
Green Room

I got off it too with the exception of BI, it's just too pretty! Luckily my list it still pretty much the same except I added BFB blush to go with WW and BI

I'm skipping every last shadow as I just know I have something comparable to pretty much all of those. So just my three items for now unless I try on a lippy and am completely blown away. Lol
