oh no, you're making me want bfb again!!!Just got back from Mac and can I say that I LOVE this collection! Am absolutely smitten with Phosphorescent and Phereomonal, along with Black Ivy. The lippies are both unique pinks on my lips and both GORGEOUS! They can be totally built up or worn sheer. I also grabbed Moody Blooms because when I tried it on, the girls went crazy---LOL! It is absolutely beautiful in person and somehow the pigmentation in my lips makes it a bit berry colored. Anyhoo, it's gorgeous.
Am also happy to report that BfB is THE BOMB! I have a bit of a tan now from working in the garden so much, and they put it on my cheeks---WOWZA! It's so fresh and gorgeous I cannot say how much I love it! I am regularly NC30 for reference. They said that Mac hasn't put out a blush like this in something like 7 years----if your on the fence, I say grab it!
I also ended up getting copperthorn because the makeup artist was wearing it and I have seriously been into rose gold lately---it is spectacular on and I know I will totally wear it!
Also grabbed artistic license---much more gold than pink and also a winner for me since I like my neutrals and this works really well with them.
All in all, I ended up getting more than I thought, but trying it all on is great and I am SO so happy with my choices!

I don't see it. I can do a swatch if you'd like. Last Call is much much lighter, more shimmery, much more cool toned, and more of a mauve in comparison to the dark, rich red-brown of Deep Fixation. I do love Last Call, though, and need to wear it more often.

I am totally like you in seeing the subtle differences in shades---I also have an artistic bent so I don't know, but I definitely notice the differences in nuances of color

Nope! I have a terrible addiction like you. But I can't be spending money on something that is more red or a touch more mauve but different. My life won't allow me to spend on frivolous items that are in fact dupeable. Lipsticks are a different story though :lol:
