yeah, I'm not worried about this collection at all. If by any chance I don't get the things I want, I will just wait for nordstrom. No big deal. The simpsons are a different story....
I dont think things will sell out quickly either. Agreed on the simpsons!

[@]AndersenDmz[/@] no worries! I was personally just concerned about my own orders and any potential black marks on my account lol esp with previous issues like RiRi. I have no stance on anyone else who wants to use the links.. up to them! You were obvs just trying to help, so it's all good! :)

I pre-ordered all four shadows but wouldn't have bought any if they had been a quad.

Why is that? Do you prefer your shadows in single compacts?
Yes, I really do. There always seems to be one, maybe two I don't want.

I am thinking of putting all my singles (over 85!!) in the large palettes for space reasons but it makes me quite nervous.

Maybe "phishing" isn't the right word but there are ways that mask a website...and seem legit. May be something small that's off. Either way...I didn't mention it to scare people. It was just something that came to mind. I know plenty of people have been duped by sites and links that appeared legit. It never hurts to be cautious lol
honestly, I was about to log into my mac account until I realized that this could be troublesome and I just had a bad gut feeling. I'm just going to wait for the site launch.

I think Pink Cult might go first too. I already have it and don't really get the hype.

Obviously Bare maybe? My MA said the grey/nudes are really in for fall.

:drama:  Well, well, well.... after seeing how much of a controversy I started with my post, I decided to delete it. I know it still appears in quotes but unfortunately that's the best I think i can do. I for sure wasn't expecting that the information wouldn't be welcome or else I wouldn't have posted; my bad.  Just wanted to share the information I learned and contribute in the way I could since without Specktra, I wouldn't have a clue about most of these collections myself. I'm really grateful for the people here who share their knowledge so I thought I would do the same. Obviously it wasn't the best of ideas.  As for the chances of eBay resellers getting their paws on these links, it is my opinion that they probably are already well aware of those anyways. These links are apparently easy enough to find and it doesnt require much to get the logic behind it, just a bit of patience. Some of them most know, if not many, since almost every LE collection ever has always been sold out in a matter of minutes. For that reason I do not think it is unfair for members of this community to order through these links; if not us, somebody else will anyway, its not that difficult.  I wasnt aware of what happened with the RiRi collection, though. All this rerouting of packages and cancellations and red flagging is pretty messed up. It wasn't my intention to get my ass whipped my MAC, but if it happens so be it. I still don't think we should be accounted responsible for their own mistakes or lack of security, call it what you will. Isnt it MAC fault if those links are easily available for anybody to access? And they could very well cancel the order before sending a confirmation email, and before charging the account. I love MAC as much as anybody on this board, but I think they f*cked us up times enough already that we shouldn't feel bad about taking advantage of their leaks. Still, I understand your point of views and apologize to those of you who wished this link (and the instructions as to how to) hadn't been posted. Just wanted to make it easy for those of you who were willing to have a shot at it. For those of you who took a chance and ordered, lets hope we don't end up on MAC black list :dunno: :peace:
Dude, no worries. Plus, there are eBay resellers that walk among us, so they are already aware.

I didn't get a chance to do my lip swatches (I'll do them tomorrow) but I did these of the lipsticks real quick.

L to R: Siss, Yash, Icon, Shitaki, and Photo. Tried Photo on my lips real quick and I LOVE it. Pretty sure Shitaki and Icon will also be loved.

Totally has me rethinking too

I really like the look of Shitake and Icon on Butterflyeyes swatches! Shitake remind me of the color of freckles. I love freckles

For some reason Karen and T's swatches of those two left me a bit cold, and in all honesty I would never wear them times enough to really justify it, but they look sooo beautiful here I might just have to cave!

Actually, how does Taupe work as a contour on very fair complexions?  I'm talking about NC10.  It looks really dark in swatches, yet I know a lot of fair people use it as their contour.  I'm afraid it'll look muddy on me like everything else on the market does.
I’m quite fair myself, and Taupe is more on the warm side for me. I could probably use it as a bronzer, if I wanted to. (I still use it for contour, though.) I’ve got a swatch of it in another post earlier in the thread.
I thought Taupe blush/contour was permanent? I wanted to have it in a palett. And not have to pay for the packaging :p
It is, but I also wonder if they took it off the site in anticipation of the collection’s launch.
