I'm not happy with several of the things that Doe Deere has done in the past, especially early on in Lime Crime's history, but I think, or hope, that she has grown up a bit since then and has learned to be more professional. I do think that she has endured a bit of a witch hunt for years now, and perhaps rightfully so, but I'm going to let the products do the talking now because that's what I care most about. It might sound wrong of me, but if I like a product, I'm going to buy it. I'm sure that if enough digging were to be done, I'd find a reason to dislike the owners of the majority of the cosmetics companies out there.

Like I said, it's to each their own. I was just sharing why I personally wouldn't order from them. In all honesty, even if the history wasn't the same -- I know I still wouldn't purchase from them because I can't handle that packaging. I don't find it appealing/cute.. it just makes me cringe, lol.

Dang enablers.. I just bought Anna too..    I also picked up a Buxom full bodied lipstick in Vienna.. I really hope the code doesn't work tomorrow.. otherwise, I am doomed.. I've made three orders in 2 days..c'mon now..
Same here, the code BETTER NOT work anymore! I made 3 orders within 24 hours.

No worries, and I'm right there with you on the lipstick packaging! It's an eye sore.

I'm not sure of the history of Lime Crime. I honestly don't know much about the company. But I can respect people for not buying things because the brand is poorly managed. I refuse to shop at Lord and Taylor because they are beyond rude to me.

I own a couple of her lipsticks and velvetines and I think their nice products. I do however respect Anybody who says they won't buy from her. To each their own. If you don't wish to support her company theres Always some great dupes out there. I actually like the cheesy packaging of lime crime.

I do own two Lime Crime Velvetines. (Red Velvet and Utopia). Having said that, IMO, the quality of the LC matte liquid lipsticks can't even come close to comparing to the quality of the Kat Von D matte liquid lipsticks.

I agree!!! I just had this debate with a friend. LC velvetines dry me out a bit ans KVD never have. Also KVD colors are more vibrant to me.

Exactly. I'm not familiar with the Lime Crime kerfuffle. But I can relate to some places and/or companies I will not give my business to!

I'm far from being a little girl and I think the packaging is cute :wiggle: :haha: I'm so glad the code finally expired!  I'm going to The Makeup Show in Orlando this weekend and I'm going to be so poor from the Sephora sale.
Makeup show in Orlando? Why did I not know about this. Ill be super excited to hear how you liked it and what you got.

Good to know. I love the KVD liquid lipsticks.. Guess i'll open one of the velvetines and return them if i like KVD better, since the prices are pretty similar
