Well, as much as I try to keep myself in the dark about the new MAC collections I stumbled upon this one and had a S3/C3 deja-vu  . Make me gorgeous is calling out my name and I might be tempted to get Alpha girl. Really happy that the fluidlines are perm because my wallet is bleeding as it is. I still have quite the shopping list ready for when I am heading to the Pro store in a few weeks.

Good to see you again! There are a couple of LE fluidlines though, you might want to check them out. In the first post you can see which ones are perm, going to perm and LE.

So are the fluidlines marked as perm becoming permanent with this collection? Most of them aren't on the Canadian site right now.

Thanks for your help.

In this current pic, Diva-ish really reminds me of Red Balloon....hmmm
I require one Diva-ish

Alpha Girl looks tempting...I have PB already from Barbie.

I have my eye on 5 lippies- Real Doll, Catty, Make me Gorgeous, Diva-ish, Reel sexy.

What's your list atm?

Here is T's review of Alpha Girl. She has Fun Ending listed as a dupe but the lighting looks different in both swatch pictures. Does anyone happen to have both to directly compare? Thanks!
Sorry, I don't own both, but I was also wondering about the difference in lighting. She also mentions Lured to Love as a dupe, but I cannot really believe that. My LtL blush looks quite yellow-orange (maybe I got a weird batch, I already thought) while hers is so much more peachy. My Lured to Love and Fun Ending got nothing in common, I'd say...although I know that her swatches aren't always accurate and probably my phone/computer settings emphasize that effect.

Yeah here lighting varies so much from collection to collection it is really hard to tell how accurate her dupes are, especially because I'm pretty sure she just compares them from her blog like we do and not in real life.

I think so, too! It's a pity her swatches turn out so differently as one can easily see her skintone/undertone looks so different in many pics. I think her swatch gallery search thingy is a really great idea itself, but it'd be so much more useful if the swatches turned out more realistic.
Although I've got one of the dupes she mentions for each BP, I still want both. Oh, it's not really easy for me this time, wanna stick to a limit of four items (team low-buy), but this collection simply is full of "my" colors in contrast to recent collections. I guess I won't decide until I've swatched everything in person. So far, my list is:
- both beautypowders
- Catty lipstick, maybe Real Redhead
- that burgundy fluidline
- Preening e/s

that doesn't make four!
