Thanks so much! I swatched it at Macys yesterday. Its a bright pink fuchsia on me for some reason. Maybe it was Macys crappy lighting. I wanted it to be a bit deeper with a tad rose tone to it. I like how it looks on you.
No problem! Maybe it was the lighting! On me it's not super bright! But I also own some definitely blinding hot pinks in comparison.

Because of this particular blogger, I picked up Real Redhead, Call The Hairdresser, and also managed to grab a backup of Petit Red. I may get Reel Sexy down the line as I'm a little unsure about it at this moment.
LOL I'm sorry but this was hilarious

Yep
I won't give her too much but she can't complain that she isn't pressing hard and then her lipstick breaks because it is twisted up too far and she's pressing it downwards at an angle smh. I had a good laugh though.

The fact that she bought all those lipsticks before trying them on is sad. I don't remember if she said she even liked one :(

It's crazy how hygiene and safety standards are different across the world. In America you can sell an eyeshadow with colors not safe for eyes as long as you put a stick on it saying so (Urban Decay) but you can return basically anything. Then items banned in Europe can get sold here no problem.

God bless privileged, entitled America lol. I just remembered someone said a long time ago you can't return a lot of items in Europe. Can you imagine an American on vacation buying some makeup they didn't like at KIKO or someplace and going to return it? It would be a nightmare :( What do you mean I can't return this item? But I don't like it!

I think there might be a fight smh. Either way I love our return policy as long as it works out in my favor :)
I laughed so hard when the second one broke as I was expecting them all to break based on how she held them. Anyway, I'm a bit perturbed that after ten trials she still does not get that perhaps lustres aren't to her liking because the shades weren't that bad on her. (I don't care for lustres so I save myself the bother). Here's the thing most troubling, she purchased them in person and manged to come away with ten, nine of which were lustres. I never have and never will try a lipstick on the lips but one swatch on the hand is all I (and perhaps most people) would need to know they didn't need to spend almost $200 on ten of them.

I imagine a person considering MAC for the first time seeing this video would steer clear of MAC. LOL.

The way I see it, she wasted her money on 10 lipsticks. Complaining that they're not working on her or complimenting her skintone etc. it's pretty upsetting
@Marsha, she will get all her money back so on that front it's not wasted. I'm just going to think perhaps she's new to makeup/lipsticks but she did purchase them in person where there had to be testers. Who knows. The sad part for the lippies is that even if she didn't try them on they would still go to lipstick heaven.

if she does return it, it will be MAC who is out money. @YarahFlower, my bet is as shrewd a company as MAC is they have the return factor built in into the price of their products plus have a certain percentage chalked up to this type of thing, so maybe their loss isn't dollar for dollar. In the end the customer will be happy, MAC keeps its good name and everyone wins. The product wasn't even special packaging so no wake will be held, LOL.

Late to the party, but better late than never I suppose! All of you ladies are looking gorgeous in your new goodies!

Yay!

Just got back from my Mac counter and B2M'd for Reel Doll and Catty. I brought my Red balloon to compare with Diva-ish and swatched them next to each other and they were virtually identical. My favorite MA was working and neither of us could tell the difference at all, so I skipped Diva-ish. Too bad really, because that was the one I was looking most forward too!

Also picked up IGNK and Bouffant! Both are GORGEOUS. So much for skipping Mac is Beauty!

This woman was a train wreck....I watched up until the point when she broke the first lipstick and started complaining about it  I'm not an expert but I can't take watching someone with less knowledge than I do. Even one of the commenters told her with a darker lip liner she could make them work but she responded that the lustres felt weird and glossy wth does that have to do with using a liner??? If your going to make a video have some knowledge of the different formulas ?!? Also, it took her 9 times to figure out she doesn't like lustres?!? :soapbox:

Those look amazing over the paint pot bases. I never bought Clearwater but if it makes Preening pop like that, I'll consider it!
Clearwater is also perfect if you are trying to do that 70's blue eyeshadow look - I mean 1000% retro-perfect.

Stormy Pink is probably my favorite single P/P - it does double duty as a cream contour for my cheeks - I use it all the time for that, besides on the eyes.

I swear I'm gna do swatches of that! Stuff just keeps coming up! I didn't bring it to my makeup party because they don't have natural lighting lamps at my aunts house :(

Feeling a little bummed after swatching my MMG and Toxic Tale side by side. They're very similar-at least on my arm. I had to stare for a bit to start noticing subtle differences.
Really? I was planning to get MMG but I have Toxic Tale already. What color foundation do you normally wear? You look similar to me.

Thank you for this! I was going to get Diva-ish but I told myself that I had too many other fuschias, Red Balloon being one of them. Money saved!

Is there a Hakuhodo dupe for the 221? The collection finally launched online, but of course most of the Fluidlines, Catty and IGNK are missing. Go figure. So now I'm not sure if I should get the 221 or skip altogether. I'm really, really annoyed with MAC at this point, especially after what I heard about the Bao Bao Wan release. Apparently, the lipsticks were never available online, but MAC stated otherwise on Facebook, then allegedly deleted comments.

The brushes say LE, too. So not sure if they'll be perm here after all.

Wow Factor looks great over Half Wild paint pot and Stormy Pink paint pot too.
Omg good idea! I have Clearwater and stormy pink! I'll try both of those and post later tonight
to LyseD: Thank you!
I thought about Clearwater for Preening but good guess for Hyperviolet or Stormy pink for Wow Factor! I missed about these two I have.
I didn't take Wow factor because it is a mate eyeshadow and I thought it was a satin or other texture than mate... I'll try it in the store over Stormy pink to figure out if I take it or not :)

Thanks again !!!

Regarding the IGNK khôl, in France, remember I doubted of the colour as it appeared turquoise-green on our MAC-site?
I ordered it... but then I saw the day after that my order was cancelled. They do not have it at all; neither in stores nor online.
I was veryupset becase I received no email from MAC ( only 2 days after I claimed about this cancellation...: what they replied is "sorry, product out of stock", (but it still apperas available on the website)... and "they don't know if/when this product will be available in store" :(

Regarding the 221 brush, I don't know about the Hakuhodo dupe, but these are great! I love it and took 3 eventhough one MUA I do trust told me i was going to be permanent. I never know with MAC so I took them right awy!

We received the fluidlines after the eyeshadows & lipsticks but we have them all. :)
I finally picked Sihahi, Blue Peep, Lowlights and Shade.
---
1st row: Shade - Blue Peep - Lowlights
2nd: Ash violet - Midnight snack - Copperthorne
3rd: Ivy - Aded Goodness - Siahi
4th: Ivy (Bobbi Brown) - Midnight blues (which is greener/darke than Sihahi on my skin)

Shade-Blue Peep- Lowlights

I have both Toying Around and Red Balloon. I don't care for Red Balloon so it gets no love from me.
