I'm trying to decide whether to break the bank and get this now or wait until the next sale for 20%.
Depends on how badly you think you need it right now. I use samples between sales just to make the blow a tad easier. I saw immediate results with it though and hate
being without it. Hey, since you're skipping the Tom Ford summer collection so you can justify getting it now.

No shame there, Meddy! I'm sure they were all necessary purchases!

As expected, I got a text from him while I was driving home from work: "You have three Sephora boxes here." There's some mild judgment implied there, I think.

But, to his credit, he broke down the boxes for the recycling bin for me without complaint or commentary, lol.

And now he's assembling my rower for me. So all in all... he's earned himself some husband points today!

I'll say---give that man his points!!!! My hubs has been on a business trip all week----I was able to label and put away the goods as well as brake down the boxes
for recycling, destroying all evidence.

That's what I'm going to do (somewhat). I want the Urban Decay Prep & Prime Spray so I'm going to buy it at shoppers tomorrow. At least get myself some good points
I kind of wish I'd thought about this a little more before the sale started because Shoppers just had a crazy points weekend two weeks ago. Oh well, lesson learned. Most of the stuff I was eyeing isn't immediately necessary so I can wait. UD sprays are great!

Amusingly, I just finally got my BI 10% email from Sephora at 4:30pm today. It came in hours after the shipping confirmation for the order I'd already placed at 2am last night. Oh Sephora, you're a bit late to the game. Thank God for Specktra.

lol! I have some boxes out in the open that I need to dispose of. Just lazy to rip off the address labels lol Hubby just says, "You like that? You want it?" and sometimes offers to pay but I manage or put I towards additional savings. He rarely splurges for himself but picks up little things for me often so I like to do it for him and treat him lol

For the number of orders I'd have to place just to get enough samples of it, I may as well buy the full-sized product. Just gotta decide if i want it more than the other items in my cart right now, which include the Korres items I asked Yarah about earlier.

Sorry if this has been talked about before-- but has anyone tried out the Smashbox primer water? I've seen great reviews for it on YT, but it has mixed reviews on Sephora's actual site. I have combination skin. Lately it's been a tad dryer than usual due to my acne face wash, but I'm drinking lots of water and using a great moisturizer. Yet, my foundation is still caking up a bit around my drier spots that I've never had a problem with before. Don't wanna switch the face-wash regimen... it's kicking my acne's ass!

Anyway, sorry about the rant. Just curious about the Primer Water.

So my dermatologist said I need to wear makeup on a regular basis. She just gave me an excuse to buy more makeup. "It's doctor's orders!" Too bad I can't get it covered under my insurance. :lmao:

Do you exfoliate regularly? Not 100% sure primer would help.

You should try using the acne face wash less regularly so it's not drying out your skin. Now that it's getting under control, maybe do a less drying face wash in the AM and the acne wash at night.

Get the MAC Mineralized Charged water, feels exactly the same to me.

So I went into Sephora today because my skin has been acting up and I know that coming off my busy season my skin needed a refresher. I asked the salesperson and he recommended the Algenist Algae Brightening Masks. He really sold me on it! It seems like a great all in one product and good for sensitive skin. Have any of you tried it??

Good old Pharmaprix in Montreal! Speaking of UD, anyone ever use their De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray? I need a mattifying spray. I've never been oily, always dry but noticing some serious shine in the t-zone area of late.
De Slick doesn't mattify, I have it and it doesn't keep my chin from getting shiny.

I tried a sample one night and the next morning had to do a double take in the mirror or how fresh my skin looked!!

I *LOVE* it! I seriously notice such a difference in my skin when I wash of the mask. I don't go through masks very often... but I'm on my second jar of this! I hope you like it, too! :)

Ebates now has a button you can download on your computer. It's great because you won't have to go to Ebates first anymore. Just go to the website (Sephora, for example) and a green banner pops up at the top of the screen telling you the % of cash back and an "activate cash back" button. Or check your tool bar for the 'E' and a check above it, which confirms that it's active. I love it because it also reminds me to check Mr. Rebates. Last I checked, both my stores had this in stock, but I'm going to call first before heading over to make sure they really have it. I have to return my Ouidad detangler anyway. I have the stick form of it in my cart. Josie has a brief video on it on the YT and I was sold! I may check out the liquid as well.
I have the app on my phone, but it was almost 3am and I didn't even think to use the ebates app. I could kick myself!
