I wanted to check out the Stila lippies today, but they took the whole brand out of my Sephora. I can't be mad though, they switched it out for Becca!
Becca, Hell YEAH!! That's a huge improvement. Stila is mud to me now -- it's just a very stale, dead brand which is kind of helpful for me because that's at least one section I can skip over at Sephora! haha. Seriously though, a lot of Stila's products don't work the way I'd like them to... at least for myself.

Stila really does need some help. They still had some nice stuff coming out when I worked retail between 2008-2010. Then all of a sudden they started coming out with those cheap $10 palettes with 4 eye shadows and the gel blush. I knew they were in trouble then.
Hmm, you're going to have to go into stealth mode to confiscate back those stolen cosmetics. Does she have a secret stash somewhere? I admire her craftiness. I remember hiding stuff all the time when I was a kid.

I remembered! Rocking UD Bittersweet Afterglow blush and lipgloss. Eyeshadow is UD anniversary palette. No joke, you need good lighting to apply this blush. Mine isn't the best and I'm seeing now at work that I could have blended a bit more. Even though I did like nobody's business! Lol! Since it's purple it shows if it's not blended properly unlike a more "natural" color. Gorg though.

The gloss rubbed off a bit because I drank water, etc. But I like the feel of it, not sticky and very opaque. And the little one is soooo adorable, though weird to apply since the wand is so short, hahaha! I lined with a Nicka K Dark Orchid purple liner (beauty supply store brand). I may look into some other glosses.
I don't think it needs more blending.  Sometimes a bold cheek is in order.  You look beautiful!  @shontay07108 , no @ssclown here!  :haha:
Yes, this is a no assclown zone. MontREALady, you look great. I love a bold cheek. I like natural, but I think it's overrated. We are wearing makeup, ya know? I forgot to mention my experience with Bang blush. It's the real deal and it's exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned being an assclown. That's what I looked like when I first applied it. Even though the swatch was pigmented, I thought it wouldn't be all that on my face. Wrong! It's no joke and it didn't fade after 7 hours. Finally! A vibrant orange/red that lasts. Everytime I checked the mirror I was loving it on my face. I think I might end up with colors I don't even go crazy over if the formula is like this across the board.

So I'm currently digging through my stack of old receipts to find the one for my Stila Nouveau Natural Eye Shadow Palette. I have that MUFE Artist Palette in Nudes and it makes me what to get rid of one of my other nude palettes that are just sitting there.. I have

  • Naked
  • Naked 3
  • Chocolate Bar
  • 3 ABH palettes that are pretty much nude
  • KVD Ladybird
  • Lorac Unzipped
  • Lorac Unzipped Gold
  • KVD Monarch Palette
  • Too Faced Natural Eyes

See that I mean and that's not even all. However in true make up addict fashion I don't want to do a straight return. I would like to exchange for something else. I was thinking another MUFE Trio, a Marc Jacobs palette, another Armani Eye Tint? Any suggestions?
Buwahahahaha!

Yes! For me it's both that I want something else (because I can't stand walking into a makeup store and walking out with nothing) and I feel bad about it. When I Back2MAC I always get something so I don't look like "that girl" who came in, got "free" lipsticks and eyeshadows and left. It's like "Uhh, and you know what, I'll get that travel pack of wipes. Thanks!"

I love how both the blush and the gloss look on you! The blush looks nicely blended to me. Thanks for going all purple for the sake of "science".

It should've been all along! :fight: That kind of color is great on our skin. I tried the mini gloss, too and I love that it's not sticky at all. Pigmentation was good, too. I want to get Punch Drunk to match with my Bang blush.

I was trying to stay away from Bang since I have NARS Exhibit A but I love the formula of these blushes. They are so easy to apply without a fuss.

Oooh, how's the Chocolate Bar one? LOVE my Naked 3 and the ABH ones. Sorry, no suggestions, lol.

Hahaha @ "the sake of 'science'"! TBH, I really like how the bold eye, cheek and lips look. Though I'm someone who doesn't always do the bold eye means a neutral lip thing or vice versa. I do whatever I want as long as I think it looks good.

Thanks!

These need to get in the store already! And you're right, those colors are good on our skin. This is the NYX one:

Good or No good? My mother want it for mothers day
I have to be honest, the formula x base and top coat did not work for me. My nails got weaker the longer I used it and started cracking and breaking and my nail polish only lasted like 3 days at most. I switched to the Nails Inc NailKale base coat a few weeks ago and my nails have gotten SO much better and the my nail polish now lasts longer too. Although this is just my experience. I know a lot of people have raved about it and it works perfectly for them.

I have to say, I'm enjoying all these fragrance samples I've been accumulating from Sephora, Ulta and Nordstrom! I have a whole makeup bag full. Needless to say, I need a rollerball one to take advantage of Sephora's 3x points promo. I think I'm getting Chloe...Smelled a Tocca one from the sample envelope Sephora sent promoting the sale and it's so nice! I have to see which one it is. Love Gucci Premiere. La Vie Est Belle. Always loved Clinique Happy. Smelled Black Opium today (free with code on Sephora) and I like it but I'm going to get a more Spring/Summer scent. Went to Sephora today and saw that they have their "Fragrance Favs" in a package for $24 but you can bring in a voucher from inside the box to get a free rollerball. But they're regular sample sizes and I'm sure I have those at home so it's not worth it. I don't have a signature scent so I think rollerballs are the way to go for me. I still have perfumes from many moons ago that aren't done. I pretty much killed off Miss Dior though, it's starting to go bad now

(was a perfume fanatic but when I started having kids I slowed down, didn't want to many fragrances around them).
