I read my less then fav blogger suggestions for makeup storage yesterday. I have the clear acrylic towers I got from eBay. They are the best. Each brand has it's own drawer and/or the cream blushes are in one drawer, the powder ones in another, Chanel e/s, Dior e/s, TF e/s, Chanel d'ombre, Armani e/s, etc. Mascara is lined up so I can see the end labels for the color in the flip top. I hate to stack my stuff in rows like you would files. Can't see what it is unless I flip through the stacks. For lipsticks I use a tray I got from Frontgate, with sections for each color group. I have another Frontgate 2 drawer with a top tray to hold my lip glosses, and the top to hold my various foundations and brushes I rarely use. It also has a tray with 12 holders for lipsticks which can be removed. My brushes I use all the time I use the Trish McEvoy snap cases. One for eye brushes and one for face brushes. Yes, I have different brands of brushes stuck in together. I have a thing about dust and brushes I use everyday. My OCD is showing.....
Those acrylic boxes are just great and very pragmatic but I hate the way they look

I live in a house built in 1928, closets, what are those???? Plus it hides any new family members quite nicely. If I had a closet the size of a bedroom, sure use something else. But in 1928 I don't think the builder was thinking of the future makeup addict.....just building a house on the lake for summer.

Yay!!!! I'm so happy for you! Everything looks so beautiful together.

Just curious, how do you like the Seductive Rose quad? I've been eyeing it for a few days now.
Thank you so much Mango. I do enjoy the Seductive Rose quad. It's not my favorite of all of my TF quads but I
really do like it. I've paired it with shadows from my Orchid haze quad on occasion. I took it out when I read
your question and was surprised that I have indentations in both the pink & burgundy shadows, which attracted
me to this palette. I don't reach for it often enough------product overload is real!!!

Ah, you have a little doggie!!!! I love doggies I have a cute little one that's 20lbs and a 50lb one who thinks he's 5lbs sometimes.

What's your favorite quad? I was first eyeing Orchid Haze, but some reviews said that the purple shade blends away into nothingness and then I started looking at Seductive Rose and it just looks so beautiful. I'm really feeling like I need some purple shadows. I'm getting rid of my Dior Stylish Move because I hate the application so much and I would just love an easy to use purplish palette. Are the glitters consistent with the usual TF quality? THANK YOU!!!!!!

Sounds like my doggie could ride your's.
My fav TF paletes are not in the purple family---Burnished Amber and Cognac Sable are my true loves. I did not have that blend-away-to-nothing experience with OH.
I also have Crushed Amethyst & Violet Dusk, both of which have burgundy & purple. I don't know if they're still available---I've had them for quite some time.

Yes yes!!probably the only summer collection that totally was worth buying every single piece of it
I totally agree Havi!!! I've purchased bits & pieces from other collections---this one rocked my world. Oh, and it also funded Tom Ford's recent trip to the
Cannes Film Festival

Do you have Silvered Topaz? Is it a good neutral pallete for work friendly looks? I'm just scared that it would be too cool toned. I don't like cool greyish eyeshadows, I look a little tired when I use them (maybe because I am

) I have two little ones that don't like to sleep at all

I have my eye on Cognac Sable for future splurge
