and since I am very pale with strong yellow undertones I have to add my frustration of brands having light shades of foundation with only pink undertones (dior, guerlain...) so annoying
they have one shade that is light and yellow and discontinue it. great job

Chanel is geared towards yellow undertones, with basically nothing for Pink Casper's. Years ago Chanel had a wonderful line for us. YSL has discontinued their BR10 at least in the States for their foundations. Kevyn Aucoin has slowly left us out of the loop. Dior has limited shades in the pale pink people. Mr. Ford still has his Alabaster but in his new formula he went with "cream" for the lightest shade offered. I totally get the Asian market is HUGE for makeup. Yet I would think sales in Ireland and most of GB would be for the pink Casper's. Ugh, the stress of my ancestors have done to me. Darn those Irish genes!!!! Of course being 100% Irish heritage can be challenging. I would always envy my friends who got lovely tans. I have only been a red lobster from any sunning I get.

Gressa's palest shade is yellow and the second fair shade is pink. The first might work for you. It doesn't work for me because I am fair neutral and a touch olive undertone and would have to blend the two for it to work. On the NPs too close to call. Will have to go to store to swatch pure v precious and then go outside to check. Can't trust store lighting. I've had to return things that looked good in store and washed me out in natural light. Especially with something subtle. But I am wearing nudes a lot so will see. I like greyed ones like Dior Pied de Poule.

Haha you'd think that most people in GB and Ireland would be needing the super pale foundations, which is true that more people are frustrated with the shade representation, apparently NW10 is doing really well for Mac over here now and revlon has held the palest drugstore foundation flag for a while now compared to the other ORANGE offerings :/ but the bulk of girls and guys can't understand why I'd even want to wear a pale foundation! Even one SA in Mac liverpool (tantastic fantastic city!) asked if I wanted to make myself look paler when is explained how a Dior one of got turned really dark on me and I was just like no I just want it to match my skin!? I reckon most assume I'm just a goth or something! I adore the Irish colouring it's so beautiful :) Half English half Scottish myself sadly I don't have red hair just the annoying personality traits haha!

I have found beige lipgloss for the Casper of the world can be tricky. The new one in this collection is to me scary in the tube, but once it is on it is lovely. Just a delightful nude. Most nude lip products makes me look like the walking dead. I tried the lighter stripe powder yesterday. It felt really nice. But I so know I would probably never use it.
Any idea how this gloss compares to TF Rose Crush?

So I order No1 powder and in my invoice it says it but I look it up online and my Order is listed as the No2 powder. I call and the lady says it shows as the 1. Do I trust her or call again? I don't understand why when looking it up it isn't showing as the No1 powder.Saks by the way

I got to swatch these. The coral/orange blush I can dupe, the beige lip gloss I can dupe, I can't wear the powders.... now the nail polishes I love, but I'll just find the dupes. Collex skipped! WOHOO! LOL

I'm considering the pink blush but I think that could be it for me.

Skipping a few pages. It's getting late and I'm about to fall asleep. I peeked at the Chanel counter next to Mac. They had the whole display out. I swatched the beige gloss. Looked like something I had so I decided not to try on the lips for now. I did swatch the blush sticks on my hand and I was hesitant. I like them but do I really need them? I asked the price and the SA said I think $42. I decided to wait since I have an appointment in June and I'm trying to be a bit more thoughtful. Less impulse buys. Not really working but anyway. I did come back and say I would get one. Then the SA said they weren't even in stock and she would call me. I was drawn more to the brown and the peach ones. I think the feel or lack of feel of it on my hand made me think these might be really good for summer. It felt like nothing when I swatched it on my hand and when I blended it it felt quite dry. It made me think it might be quite long lasting on those sticky summer days. So I thought I'd try one and get the other one later. No dice. I made mention that I had an appointment in June but the SA said she was afraid it would sell out. I shrugged my shoulders. But then came back a few minutes later. Like I said I'm trying. They wanted me to order it and they'll just ship it. I told them to call me. Maybe I'll come to my senses. I did think it had a slight shimmer or rather I should say a sheen but I could only see it on my hand when I held it up a certain way in the light. It may not translate on the cheek. I've been ignoring this thread. I'll try to read up on this thread tomorrow.

I'm glad you didn't let them pressure you into the blush. If you're not into & passionate about a product, don't buy it. Think of it as one more thing that you wouldn't get to use.

This is exactly the type of problem I've been having with Saks. There are discrepancies and the whole thing is glitchy. I spent hours on the phone straightening it out. If the item is not LE you can always wait to see if the right one arrives. If it is LE, then you might wish to assure that you get the one you want before they sell out. I would definitely call again. The people have always been kind and courteous, but there are very long wait times, and they often don't get it right. I think there may be cut backs in customer service or something. Or a technical glitch in their system. Best of luck to you in getting the right product without too much hassle.

OMG its so pretty on & smells amazing! The texture is absolutely DIVINE silky smooth to apply. It looks like second skin. I hope they do more shades.

I had the same issue. It lists that I ordered a color I didn't. If you purchase the same product in multiplies , I know none of you ever do that (cough, cough)but different colors. They are all listed as the same color on the invoice you get in the email. Yet, when the actual product comes it is what you ordered.
