So beautiful!!!!!
charlotte is almost the same as viva glam.. I swatched both.. so charlotte was def a pass for me. The tube is pretty tho lolyes bianca looks like chalk with a pale lilac undertone. Eugenie is not as dark as I thought it would be, but its not that much lighter than ttt. Can you check them out in store first. I didn't purchase any of them, but im eyeing tats, charlotte, and eugenie. Im also thinking I can skip them if I feel the need to get it right away.
Eugenie is awesome on you!Thank you!![]()
Thank you for bringing that up. I had a chance to wear Eugenie yesterday and despite my excitement for it, I hate to say I am a bit disappointed in the shade. Earlier, I talked about how red it was on the back of my hand. On my lips it was even REDDER. :-( Even paired with Nightmoth. After thinking about it, it did dawn on me that instead of it comparing to TTT, due to the amount of red tone to it, it actually might compare more to Runner. I haven't swatched them next to each other but I should. Whereas I LOVE Runner, Eugenie is okay. Not bad, just okay. It might grow more on me. I just really thought this would lean more purple. :-/Yeah, if it hadn't been delayed online if have picked up Eugenie for sure, but I saw swatches of it next to Runner which I already have and they are damn near identical.
Okay, will do! And I'll have to checkout your FB pics!Well check out my Facebook pics if you're curious about the other places, Laura McKenzie Lara. And lmk if you go to Hong Kong, it's definitely in my top ten cities to see...
Lovely! That looks pretty accurate too for you ladies who might still be on the fence.Eugenie:![]()
I have Beauty and for awhile it was a regret buy. On my NC 30 skin it was atrocious when applied straight from the tube. However, I got it to look not just like "it works" or "will do" but be actually wearable and look GREAT when I apply it in thin layers using the lip brush (forgot the mac number for it). It seems like the pale pink in this collection has more white in it but I wonder if the same application technique will make the lipstick look wearable on a greater range of skin color.Good idea! I'm going to get it even though I was hoping it was a pink-white. Swatches seem to indicate it's a lilac-white. Now I really wish I'd picked up Beauty lipstick from Glamour Daze lol
I'm less excited about Eugenie too especially after seeing how many shades it resembles like Dark Room and others.Thank you for bringing that up. Beautiful. Are you happy with the shade or are you disappointed like Mizani?Eugenie:![]()
Looks beautiful on you Naomi!Eugenie:![]()
Wow, all of those colors are what I group more in the "red/burgundy" family and Eugenie fits right in. :-/ I did swatch Eugenie and Runner next to each other and they are fairly close. Even how they transferred on a white tissue after I wiped them off. Nearly identical.I'm less excited about Eugenie too especially after seeing how many shades it resembles like Dark Room and others.![]()
I am not surprised. Look how close Eugenie is to Diva and Media. If it is similar to Dark Room I can definitely skip it. I will pick it up if I catch it in a CCO in a few months. Without a doubt there is nothing special about the color.Wow, all of those colors are what I group more in the "red/burgundy" family and Eugenie fits right in. :-/ I did swatch Eugenie and Runner next to each other and they are fairly close. I agree all 5 shades are highly dupable but It is a lovely collection though, I think MAC/G Valli could Have been much bolder, the inspiration behind is flowers, so the 5 coulours are not unique at all. I remember the beautiful coulours from Semi-Precious, I wish MAC would do unique coulours again !I am not surprised. Look how close Eugenie is to Diva and Media. Lovely! That looks pretty accurate too for you ladies who might still be on the fence.Oh, and I wanted to say that my Macy's did have the whole display out. Guess more of the same from MAC.

Thanks ladies! Vande, I'm fine with it as I enjoy a good red/burgundy shade, but I can see how some would be disappointed if they expected it to lean more purple and be closer to TTT.Looks beautiful on you Naomi!
I agree, it's a pretty collection but very dupable and while I have purchased from it I don't think I would of died had I missed anything since I have several like colours in my stash.I agree all 5 shades are highly dupable but It is a lovely collection though, I think MAC/G Valli could Have been much bolder, the inspiration behind is flowers, so the 5 coulours are not unique at all. See after seeing it swatched I was thinking it gave me more Runner vibes than TTT vibes. I love Runner but I don't need a dupe for it. *Decisions... decisions*Yeah, if it hadn't been delayed online if have picked up Eugenie for sure, but I saw swatches of it next to Runner which I already have and they are damn near identical.
