I was wondering if it was the formula I didn't like as well since I'm a matte girl. Yeah I was thinking I'd need a liner. I'm only beginning to use pencils more and more and I usually like it only for matching a lipstick and not really tweaking it. I may end up not getting it

If I can get only one from the collection it would be Tats or Bianca B. I'm also eagle eyeing the Rainbow pearls from Guerlain if they show up online at Nordstrom. D:

Haha, yes! I mostly use liners under bolder lipsticks to keep them from getting patchy and have not yet mastered the art of tweaking, but I'm gonna start trying with some shades that don't quite work on me. Margherita would probably be one of those. Thanks!If it looks stark, maybe try putting the lipstick on first then feathering the liner around the edges for a softer effect. The purpose of liner is to make the lips look more defined (add definition), to make a bolder color look crisp around the edges, and to keep the lipstick under control (liner usually helps keep things from bleeding).
Liners aren't easy! They were one of the last things I learned. They're hard because no one's lips are even so you have to over or underdraw a little. Start in the middle on both the top and the bottom, press lightly, and go slow.
Is that kind of helpful? Sometimes I get excited and vomit words.

I think Nordstrom is 12AM PST/3AMEST. The collection could launch anytime between 3-6AM EST. But there is an Anniversary Sale and someone mentioned Nordstrom might shut down the site, in which case you'll see a countdown clock until it reopens. I'm not sure about MAC, I thought it was 7AM-9AM EST but ICBW, others here will know lol

Funny today...since I couldn't hoard lipstick, I hoarded Toilet Paper
I went into the drug store & there was my beloved tp that we buy on sale for 50% off
that's huge as it's normally just over $10 which is outrageous to do what you do with it. I HATE to go to Walmart which is where I usually get it so I'm thinking I have to buy a bunch of it so I don't have to buy it for a very long time. Oops, it's a limit of 2
darn, but they let me buy 4 lol. So, I call hubs & said, hey you have to help me hoard tp today
he's like what the heck are you talking about...so he went with me & we got 4 each again
I would rather buy 100 lippies than one pack of tp. Even though I hoarded that stores stash of tp, I will not be listing them on Ebay for triple the price

Im the same complexion as you and that and bianca was way harsh on me no lip liner. Didn't have guts to post lip swatches thats why I only posted hand swatches.

Yup powdered donuts with a weird lilac undertone, scary sight. I get mixing/ blending or using a liner to darken and make it work, but when I buy lipsticks I need it to be able wearable on its own then if I like I can alter with a liner.
