It's at the top when I click order history but not when I click order detail, which is the default page when you click through from the email.

That Macy's is big and overwhelming that's why. They now have the biggest shoe dept in the US I think. I usually do what I have to do then leave. I've come to the point of shopping online and picking up in store to not have to deal with the crowds, size of the store and renovations.

MAC is so weird. I got my shipping confirmation email but it doesn't actually have a tracking number in it. Then I checked my account, which says shipped at the top but next to the lipsticks, it says processing and has nothing in the tracking number column. Am I the only one with this problem? I've never had a missing tracking number before. *smh*

I had that same problem ever since it went to the crappy new website. No tracking number anywhere. You just get to be surprised when it shows up .

I also think it all stems from MAC as discussed here before. Either make more or properly enforce limits. In your stock take into account employees and sales associates so no one is tempted to be shady. I would be pissed if I worked at a MAC counter and couldn't get a damned le lipstick. I mean really, they're MAC, they can do/afford to make more. It will still sell out, still be limited edition, etc.

This is all kinds of true. Life is stressful enough, makeup should be fun, expressive, creative. I just don't like how shady the whole thing gets, especially with the LE packaging. Does the couponer even know about anything, it's all dollars and cents to them.

I did email MAC about their website yesterday. I guess that's the main thing to me--fix the e-commerce stuff so at least the site works. It's tough to use on a quiet day. If anyone had a bad experience and has time to email them as well it might make a difference in the long run. Maybe fix tracking lol. We can hope, right?

It looks like Macys came to the rescue for a lot of people. I went by my local one yesterday and every lippie was there. I got the three that do NOT look like clown ashy lips on me (Tats, Charlotte, Eugenie). I'm not really sure what they were thinking with Bianca B and Margherita. Both of those colors are heinous. There's so much white in Margherita that the orange pigment tends to skip on application. Not okay. And whoever said BB looks like Whiteout... OMG YOU ARE SO RIGHT! You'd be better off just getting some elmers glue and white chalk and getting busy with it. I swatched them in the store and looked at the SA like

Not a fan of the packaging either. The box is gorgeous, but the bullets are so cheap and drugstore plastic looking. Was the genius designer behind the Bao Bao Wan bullets busy or something? We couldn't get something more worthy of those lovely boxes and designer name... particularly without a pro discount? Even the regular bullets have more substance and weight to them. These kind of look like plastic toy makeup, circa 1978.

Either way, whoever didn't get them should not lose sleep over them. Those colors are totally dupeable.
