It's so funny that you guys mentioned all that about the delivery guys. I was at my grocery store this morning where I met my UPS guy the other day to pick up my lipsticks for fear of them melting, & he's waiting outside the grocery store with a Sephora box for meHe said, I saw you checking out so I checked the truck BECAUSE I WAS SURE YOU HAD A PACKAGE!
My parent's always tease me, I would not leave the burning house without my critters and my makeup....although seeing up close the drama and speed the wild fires can do, you just haul a$$ to get out. And leave the rest behind, except for the critters.Wow! That is definitely confusing. I will continue to send up prayers for him that he recuperates faster than expected so you guys can start to relax again.
The other day one of my friends who is super into makeup was talking about insurance - like if my house was on fire, I would be so upset to lose my collection. Even if my makeup was insured, there are some things that are limited edition and just cannot be replaced or valued at cost price! I try not to think about such things lol.

I just had to go to the grocery store to pick up my package. I didn't like that. I showed them my driver's license and then they went in a back room with it. I did not like that and said so. I said why can't he give me my license and just take the notice. He said my name wasn't on the notice. He was right. I know they thought I was suspicious of them and I felt a little bad but I don't trust anyone taking my ID to another room. Well, if it happens again, I'll just have to remember to write everything down on a separate piece of paper. I suspect it wasn't my regular driver though. I ended up live chatting with a UPS rep before I left because I thought I had to pay for it. The rep said no. Actually, she clarified a few policies I found confusing when I read them on the site so I just might sign up for the premium service after all.
