I feel a science experiment coming on! The Viseart dupe for Stud is on its way to me, along with the Burberry e/s pale barley and macs indianwood paint pot. I feel like the old PB would be a dupe for stud too...Soooo, I bought pale barley and the paint pot because I was curious to know if I mixed the two together, would it look more like the original pale barley in the sheer formulation! The original was much more complex, it was warmer and had more golden undertones. The new PB is a little dull and cooler to me compared to the original...but I'll have to wait until Studs release with certain retailers on Nov 1st to test my theory! I have gift cards for Nordies and Sephora so I'm trying to hold off on buying elsewhere...but the chemist in me is itching to place an order with Nars.com... ...ok, just tell me...am I bonkers for needing to pursue this hboy: I feel like only makeup lovers can appreciate this kind of dedication!

Ordered "A Womans Face Nude Lip Set" on Sunday and just got my text this morning that it's arriving today can't wait!!! I'll post some pictures and swatches later for you guys!! Now I'm debating on the "One Shocking Moment" palette only palette I have from NARS is the Virtual Domination Palette!

I picked up some things from my makeover. It's funny but the MA used items that were on my list and I didn't even tell her I wanted these. I got:

-eyeliner set
-dual intensity blush
-stud eyeshadow
-green eyeshadow
-besame lipstick

The MA also used Tiber lipgloss but I figured I didn't need it as I have so many nude glosses but after walking around, I thought what if I get home and don't like it without the gloss? So I bought Tiber at Bloomies. I didn't see it at Sephora. I'm thinking they don't carry that shade.

I didn't swatch anything else. I don't know why. Perhaps I didn't want to want anything else. Next time when I go back. They had someone doing polish changes so I got my nails painted with the gray polish. I must go back for that color and probably the others. Probably the blush palette too. I should have at least swatched it but being that I was buying the dual intensity one, I was on blush overload.

I bought Never Too Late, the green shadow. I haven't worn it yet but I've been wearing Chanel's Fall quad this week. Specifically the pinkish shade with the green over it and I think the combo looks like Never Too Late. Maybe it's the way I'm applying it. I use a big fluffy brush, Mac's largest shadow brush whose number I can never remember but one of my favorites. So I'm really applying a sheer wash of color. In the pan the Chanel quad looks much warmer than Never Too Late but I'm not noticing much difference on the lid. Surprised about that.

The MA was told by the lead artist at my makeover to use the red gloss with the metallic pink lipstick on top. I think in the middle only. The MA decided it was looking too pink and switched to Besame. I kind of liked the combo though so I may get the gloss and lipstick at some point. So all and all I'm not done.
