If MAC select members were limited to one item to ensure that 'stock would be available to everyone', there should have been a limit of 1 or 2 per customer. It's not going to happen but they should cancel orders for more than 3 for each item.

In the future, MAC should allow Select members to buy more than one item each during a presale (especially if there is no limit during the regular launch). Your valued customers get what they want and this removes at least some people from trying to buy during the general launch.

I've been checking Saks and Nordies and MAC since last week and had almost decided not to try again but yesterday morning it actually let me add an item to cart and, though it was a bit slow, I checked out.
Only to come here and realize what was going on.

Thankfully I was able to order during the presale. I tried to backup a couple of products yesterday and could not get through until everything was sold out. Some of the prices that I have seen on eBay, Instagram, etc are beyond ridiculous, and people are actually bidding which amazes me.

I didn't realize the general release didn't have an item limit. I was actually happy about the one item each bc with this type of collection I think it's necessary. But that seems silly to do that for pre-sale and not the regular launch when, as I understand it, the pre-sale was a separate amount of set aside stock anyway...

Finally found someone with a deeper skintone who tried on Amor Prohibido and I love it!!! Now I am thinking of trying to get a back up of that and my techno cumbia.

I also wonder how many product they sent to bloggers and youtubers... It seems EVERYBODY has a sneak peek, video tutorial and swatches and reviews of the collection! At least half of those products could have been available as extra stock for purchase to the public.

I did get the three things I wanted on the presale, but I'm angry for the fans who truly wanted and couldn't get any.

I want to say that there was a 3 item limit during the general sale per a comment MAC CS left on Facebook. I do wish that it was at least a 2 item limit during the pre-sale though so people wouldn't have to stalk multiple times if they were also shopping for others. Hopefully they'll restock soon and everyone who wants something will be able to get it without having to resort to paying the vultures on ebay.
