So did anyone get the Crazy Paris eye palette? Is anyone loving it? It is on my list, but the collection has not hit my counters yet, and I have to see it in person to decide.

I tried it and I didn't buy it precisely because it is stiff and scratchy :/ It is as if they hadn't even bothered with trying them beforehand!
I shall check out the clinique brush u suggested! My crazy ballz are still siting on my vanity untouched and that drives me crazy lol

I bought the compact from the holiday collection and am not sure what it's supposed to do? Do I put it all over or as a highlighter? lol

I have several Guerlain brushes and none of them are scratchy or stiff...

I tried the one for the balls and a kabuki/bronzer one and did not like them. Could be a bad batch, different editions or me being very particular about my brushes!!

I second your experience with scratchy brushes! It's the reason I never bought one! Even when they use it on me at the boutique I'm all like, "hmm, I have softer brushes at home..."

In my opinion it's a very soft blush but it can be used as a highlighter ( but not all over the face as it's pink ), I have it too and prefer using it as a blush, it works well. It's a lovely pink I think, and the scent is so delicate. it's the only item I purchased from the Guerlain Holiday collection but I am very glad I did, it's a pretty compact powder.

Do you find it similar to the Parure de Nuit highlighter from a couple of years ago?

I've had the opportunity to try out my Cruel Gardenia a couple of times now and I'm happy to say that it lives up to the hype. It adds a wonderful pinkish glow to my cheeks that lasts very well but doesn't highlight my pores. I also find it does amazing things applied to the inner corners of the eyes.

Have you tried washing the brush?
Sometimes that can make a big difference to how a new brush performs.

Crazy Paris collection will hit my counters this Friday! That's early for Guerlain here, because usually they launch seasonal collections last, weeks after Chanel and Dior, etc. I can't wait to see everything!

I suspect that means that we'll get it on Friday as well!

Does anyone know if you can put a Meteorites refill into the Crazy Paris Meteorites compact?

Would be awesome if you could refill it because it is so pretty!

Condition your brushes that need softening with expeller pressed organic coconut oil.. It will soften them and also has antibiotic properties It has a hole on the bottom so it seems refillable but the $55 refill for the voyage powder seems smaller in diameter so I don't know how it will work out when you get around to refilling it...

Thank you, stacekang!

But if the refill was really smaller it would make no sense to put into this compact

I don't own Parure de Nuit or Cruel Gardénia in fact. But when you say it adds a wonderful pinkish glow to my cheeks oh yes it does. The Crazy météorites is very finely milled ( similar to the Dior duo blushes Bird of Paradise edition ), it looks fair in the pan and it is fair, pale but pinkish too. Lovely shade really ( and I am not a fan of the Holiday 2013 collection lol ) ! It's beautiful.
