I've been at the Lancome counter for 5 months now and although I like being behind the counter I have decided I absolutely HATE preselling over the phone. People are sick and tired of getting called every 5 top 6 weeks.
I feel like a telemarketer not a beauty advisor.
Just frustrated.
I thought it would be interesting to what different methods everyone has to get customers to purchase presales.
What works for you and what is your favorite method?
Have you ever tried something that just plain didn't work?
Just wondering how you girls who work full time behind a counter manage with being on your feet all day. Any tips for getting used to it or wht you do?
This is a bit long. I'm in the process of applying for parttime with Clinique at Younkers for counter sales. Had first interview. Second scheduled next week.
Anyway, several weeks agao, I had also sent a resume directly to Clinique.

I am getting super psyched for my next interview for Clinique at Younkers.
This will be on Tuesday with the counter manager and head store manager.
Then of course the interview with the Clinique coordinator will be scheduled after that.
