IDK if I've said this already but everyone needs that Laura Mercier glow powder. Everyone.

I used my Rouge reward yesterday and the order should be here tomorrow. I got the green and blue Huda mini palettes and 2 Pat McGrath glosses. I've stayed away from them because they seem pretty sheer, but I figure why not if I'm using the reward? Plus everything on my wishlist was way more expensive and I didn't want to pay a large balance.

For a couple of months I thought my skin was changing because...well, I'm getting old. After a few hours my skin would get really shiny and I thought it was either age or the fact that it's hotter than satan's ass here, but I finally figured out it was the Huda primer. I went from the MJ Coconut primer to the Tatcha to the Huda and the shiny problems started when I was using Huda and I never noticed. Like, my skin is a desert so unless I'm sweating like crazy I should not be shiny. The huda primer smells great and feels great, but it is a moisturizer. I am back on the Tatcha now and I have zero problems.

The glow powder is indeed AMAZING! I use to use Guerlain 4 seasons powder until they reformulated them and I didn't like the new version, so I needed a replacement and gave LM glow powder a chance and haven't looked back lol.

Are you two using the powder all over the face or on highlighted areas only?

Stopped at a Sephora at Mall and they had a big Charlotte Tilbury aisle and Huda Beauty. They didn't have these a few days ago. They didn't have the pot shadows though. Bummer. I'm still waiting for the Star Gold to show up. I never got it waiting for it to come stateside. A rep told me it was coming to the US in the fall but I haven't seen it yet. I'm wondering if I missed out. They did have the bar of gold palette int he display but I just got it in the mail. I was thinking it was limited edition. Maybe it isn't. The Huda beauty display didn't have the new eyeshadow palettes yet. I didn't see a spot for it either. I've seen a big Huda Beauty display in a downtown store but not at this store so I guess the brand is expanding.

Both. The great thing about the powder is that you can buff it out or build it up. I buff it all over and then add a bit more to certain areas. Don’t use it under your eyes though because no amount of buffing will stop you from looking insane.

What type of brush have you been using to buff it all over? I usually use the Wayne Goss #2 brush to very lightly set small areas of my face. I don’t usually buff powder all over, but everyone’s excitement about this powder has me intrigued.

I use the morphe e58. I’m not a fan of the brand but a YouTuber I like raves about it and I was curious. It’s so good I bought another one.

Thank you! I will have to check out both.

Speaking of window shopping...my cart is currently primed and waiting for the November sale

GUYS! I went to an out of the way mall, stopped in sephora and thought I was tripping when I saw the new shades of the Pat McGRATH lip balm. I got fetish 3. It swatches so beautifully and I can’t wait to try it on!

oh and I ordered the new Marc Jacobs highlighter and I’ll have it tomorrow. So much for cutting back on purchases!

Oh wait I was talking about the Candleglow, the one in the compact. I just saw that LM came out with a loose powder glow but I personally prefer compact powders over loose powder. So I'll be sticking to the Candleglow.

I was mistaken on the LM powder I use, I use the Candleglow in the compact not the new loose glow powder.

Huda is expanding because she has a bigger display in the Sephoras in my area now as well. Everyone keeps talking about her products so I might check them out at some point especially since her line continues to grow which is a good sign.

Yes there's pics of the lipbalms in the Pat McGrath thread and they look pretty but they remind me more of a sheer lipstick, so I'm going to pass on those however I did buy the Pink Astral exclusive when it was released on Pats site because the chrome look was pretty for summer.

I recently hauled the LM Glow powder but I haven't used it yet. I'm also glad to know I'm not the only one planning out my list for the November sale.

PS I also have my eye on the Marc Jacobs highlighter.

I just tried the PM lip balm and I'm laughing over how not sheer it is. I can't believe it's just a slightly lighter version of her regular lipstick and it feels so good on. I was afraid it wouldn't be worth the money, but now I think I might get one more. ;)
