So I got this card with my VIBR card that said I could get a free makeover. I went to Sephora today and they were *incredibly rude*. The first girl said "We don't do full makovers after 5pm, and there's a $50 minimum purchase." I explained that I had a free makeover card with my VIBR card and she said,"I"ll see what I can do." She sent another person (I'm guessing the store manager) over to tell me that no, they won't to a makover today and they didn't even offer me an appointment another day. I was so shocked by how rude they were that I just left.

I wish I had remembered the name of these women so I could call and complain. I'm really pissed off. I've spent thousands in their store and this is how they treat me?
I would contact Sephora. that isn't the way people should do business. I would go back and find out their names and put a complaint in on both of them

No, was waiting for the sale for the first one and now there's a second! I already re-rouged this year, but I think I'm going to re-re-rouge with the sale!

I'm not sure it's possible to re-Rouge with the November sale because the $$$ only starts accumulating towards your next Rouge after the new year. See how they do us...

Maybe I am misunderstanding how it works. If so will someone clarify, if only for my own edification.
No, you're right about the policy. I was just being silly. By re-re-rouging I meant spending another $1000, not really anything to do with Sephora's system.

I tried calling the VIBR line and waited for a very long time and finally hung up. I sent an email.

I've had bad experiences repeatedly at this location. It's just this one store, which, unfortunately, is the one right near my house.

I totally get that every store has bad apples and that sometimes employees aren't as customer-oriented as they should be, but don't be making up policies!! Shit we get called out for every negative at my job, even if we have proof to the contrary. in the end, at least you tried to rectify the situation instead of letting that nonsense continue. I send Sephora emails so I have an evidence trail if problems at a particular store continue.

Our store usually can't do custom makeovers after 5pm because we don't have enough coverage , but if we do they try to accommodate everyone. Weekends are usually booked as well. we strive to make our clients happy but every location can be different and I'm sorry you were treated rudely. :/ that isn't ok.

Sorry that happened to you. No one should be treated like that, especially a VIB. I hope CS gets it squared away.

Not Sephora, but does anyone have any experience with IT brushes? There's a super cute foundation brush at Ulta available for Breast Cancer Awareness month and I want to get it.
Okay, I got a bit of bad news. I was able to purchase this tonight. It is a brighter pink than it appears on the site, which is cute.. however, the ferrule seems cheap.. it isn't weighted and it is very light.. it feels like plastic.. Something about the brush - just does not seem to be on par with their other brushes.

I do not feel comfortable returning it, because it is for a good cause.. So I will chalk it up to a "for charity" purchase, but if there would have been one out to touch - I would have passed.

It is a shame, because aesthetically - it looks beautiful.

Thank makes sense! Thanks for validating the policy. the Sephora near me was doing facials up until closing the other night so I assumed all other services were the same. Side note: do you like working there? I thought about doing some part time hours...I live near a few locations and I constantly see signs posted for part time employees.

I won 10% off in Sephora's Beauty Shake-Up game so I decided to purchase the last Disney compact mirror that I wanted. When the mirrors were first announced, I told myself that I wasn't going to get any because I could just use the mirrors that come with my eyeshadow palettes and highlighter compacts, however, I decided that it wouldn't hurt to get one as it would be nice to have a mirror compact that was on the fancier side. I decided on just getting Belle but ended up buying Ariel and now Cinderella, lol. However, I am now truly done buying any more of the compact mirrors from this collection as I was never really into Snow White or Aurora, and the Elsa and Anna one doesn't appeal to me. However, if any of you see me making any posts that indicate that I am changing my mind about purchasing any more compact mirrors from this collection, please stop me, lol.

Frends Beauty has it on sale for $54 and shipping is only about $3. This was posted a couple days ago, but it's still active. Here's the link: http://www.frendsbeauty.com/viseart-eyeshadow-palette-04-matte-darks.html

Not Sephora but I figured I can post this in here for those who wanted a size comparison between the colors in the Becca Afterglow Palette (Ulta-exclusive) and the deluxe mini's (Rose Gold and Opal pictured). The mini's are each 2.4g and each SSP pressed in the palette is 1.4g. The blushes are 1.6g.
