I couldn't bring myself to place another order before the sale ended. I wanted to get some Sunday Riley, but some Sunday Riley requires some $$$ I was not ready to part with just yet. I've been using the mini version of the Good Genes serum for maybe a week and change now, I think and I already see it helping me. It's surprising because I bought it hoping to see some change but I was still cynical. I have a gnarly dark spot near my top lip from a pimple I kept picking at and the serum has made it smoother. Makeup doesn't settle and cake up there the way it has been and my forehead is smooth as hell. What I'm gonna do is get another sample before I commit because it's $105.

Also, I got that Caudalie Essence in my Sephora Play box this week and my experience with it is different than the one I had in store. The smell wasn't nearly as strong. If you recall I said the smell is horrid and I couldn't get it off my hands soon enough when a MUA at Sephora put it on me so that I could feel it. The smell is still not to my liking but it's a lot weaker. Who knows why it was so strong to me in store, but also, it went away pretty fast after I put it on my face. Most impressive is how nice and cooling it felt. I'm gonna finish this sizable mini and go to the store to see if the smell is as strong before I decide to buy.

Caudalie has been a crapshoot for me, so I gave up on the brand as a whole. That's great the Good Genes is helping so well. I tried one Sunday Riley product and it gave me cystic acne, so I'm done with that brand too, lol!

(What was cancelled?)

Tom Ford shade and illuminate. It was in stock when I ordered it but since it took them a week to fill my order it went out of stock and got cancelled. Oh well. I'll wait for another deal, it wasn't something I was dying for. It was something I wanted to try.

Yikes! Sorry to hear that and I don't blame you for staying away. It's amazing how a brand works so well for some but so terribly for others. People love belif but it made my skin feel like sandpaper.

I sort of agree about Caudalie. I don't get the hype. The idea is great but I haven't seen results from anything I tried. It could just be my skin but I gave up on them too.

That's a great attitude. I can't stand companies that don't have accurate inventory accounting. Or when they don't save a few items to replace damaged items or to fix errors.

I was seriously considering getting a 500pt Caudalie reward since I thought it might be nice to try their products. Glad I saved my points!

Amen, Bosch.....
I recently completely a Sephora survey and noted the need for sufficient inventory, when asked how the could improve my shopping experience. Although I've done it many times, I find no joy in stalking for makeup.

Speaking of skincare, I posted awhile back that I started on the Juice Beauty line & I love it SOOOO much that I have thrown all my other products out. I've been using it for quite some time now & it has consistently kept my skin clear, super smooth, free of breakouts & hydrated. The Stem Cellular line is amazing, in particular the 2 in 1 cleanser. I bought 3 sets, Stem Cellular, Anti Aging & Hydrating sets which I rotate. I recently bought the oils to try.

The Eve Lom cleanser is the first new cleanser I've tried since and I really really love how soft & bright/glowy fresh it leaves my skin. I bought the large expensive set to try the advance brightening products. I also got the DE Babyfacial to try.

Oh, & I love the Pat Mcgrath Craft sequins LOL & the highlighter items SOOOO much. I wish that I would have bought 2.

The DE Babyfacial is in route.
You are braver than I am with the sequins. I still haven't opened mine yet but plan to this weekend.
I finally got notice that my PM Sublime palette has officially shipped. I was worried the order would be cancelled.

:bowdown:Hi there Lady Kiki! How are you gorgeous. I guess it's all your fault that I've reappeared!!! I hope you'll pop in more often now to harass me...it wouldn't be much fun if you don't :kisskiss:

Did you really just post as if you've been posting all along??? LOL! Of course we've missed you and I too had went away for awhile but of course you can't stay away from this place too long if you truly are a beauty junkie at heart. It's great to have you back and don't disappear again for too long xoxox

Sephora's site has had so many issues the last couple days & earlier it said it was working on technical problems

It was late on the 15th when I was doing my 3rd order & the site was acting up horribly. It was crazy how long I spent to get to product pages. I wish they fix whatever the is the problem. I thought maybe it was my iPad so I got on the PC, my iPhone, and laptop. They all did the same thing.

I had no time to browse & barely enough time to put things in my cart. There are still some items I would have purchased had I been able to get the other products into my cart and stay there. I'd look at my cart & an item I had added earlier was no longer there. It was so frustrating to deal with their site & back to that product page & add again. I always double check to make sure my discount is still showing & deducted. It was there so I submitted my order. It took forever for the order confirmation number to come up. Guess what, NO discount.

Customer service was closed so I thought I would go ahead & do the email option. I've never done that as I usually call. When I was finished it said someone would contact me. Right away I got an automated email that showed what I sent & something about delays in shipping & if I had any questions to contact customer service.

I would like to know why the hell they have an email option in the "Contact Us" immediately after you hit send on their site you receive an auto email that tells you to contact customer service. That's what I thought I was doing

I haven't had a chance to call. It's been a crazy week. We are doing our granddaughter's birthday party tomorrow (Saturday) she'll be 3 on Sunday. You can bet your sweet

they will be called Monday morning. This order was over $350, it was a pretty good discount. Was being the operative word.
