It looks beautiful on you Meddy. And you do NOT have short nails! Not that there's anything wrong with short nails in my book.

Chanel Fraîcheur (Spring Green) It's pretty!!! Day 4 and no chipping.
Beautiful! and I agree with the ladies, your nails are a lovely length! I have very nail beds. A year or two ago, I went in to get my nails done and I didn't have my hair done or a stitch of makeup on. I was asked by the nail tech what grade of middle school I was in!!!

She said I had little baby nails.

Some information for the Germans here regarding Fraicheur. I'm not someone who gives up easily, so I wrote an email to Douglas and asked about availability, if I can order it at least via that email and why it's LE here. They answered that they can't process my email order - reason: because they don't sell it in their online shops. Hmmm. Other shops manage just fine to sell products ordered by email. But maybe they have restrictions imposed on them there as well.

The np is still available in the following shops:

Maternusplatz 5
50996 Köln

Zeil 98-102
60313 Frankfurt

Karmarschstr. 26
30159 Hannover

Very few items left, so if you live nearby and want it, you better hurry up.

And the answer to my question why it's not available everywhere, online and unlimited: because Chanel provided it as a "limited summer edition" and they can't say anything more about it.

So, I guess it was Chanel's idea to artificially limit Fraicheur here in Germany. I don't think Douglas had anything to do with it. It still makes no sense at all to me. I could understand it, if it was LE in the US as well and they just had a limited amount to sell, but since it seems to be permanent there, why let us jump through hoops to get it?

Well, the subject is closed for me. I'm not wearing np that often anyway. But next time I'm going to buy cosmetics or skincare, I'll definitely remember why I didn't get Fraicheur. And that'll certainly influence future decisions.

Chanel distribution in Germany has always been weird. I also could never understand why we first didn't get the holiday LEs, and then they were severely limited to some stores, while in the UK for example you can get it at every Boots.

I only started collecting Chanel polishes about two years ago and have mourned the missed opportunity of so many LE shades from years past. One that I have always lusted over for Autumn is Cosmic Violine. While searching Macy's.com for the new Autumn collection, I discovered that this shade (and all three polishes from Les Autumonales) is available online for purchase! Super excited to add this one to my collection at last

Oh, Cosmic Violine is pretty! I still have Tulipe Noir which is a similar color.

Fraicheur has arrived as well, and I'm glad I got it. Although it seems a bit streaky, but most Chanel NPs aren't easy to handle. Except the metallics, those formulas are much better IMO.

Maybe you'll do better than I did, but I noticed Cosmic Violine and Dazzling on Macy's a couple of months ago, promptly ordered.... and received Pirate and Vamp.

Was. Not. Pleased.

I spent quite a bit of time talking to CS, and had the store call CS when I went to return them and the story I got was "well, the colors were out of stock and these were close enough," The store reps were horrified.

So, I hope a miracle happens, but don't hold your breath on Cosmic Violine.

That's awful!!! I believe that my order is coming from a store because usually things ship from Tennessee and its coming from California which is great for me because it normally takes over a week to receive a package from Macy's. I will definitely let you know, though because their substituting is NOT okay! I hope you got a gift card or something to make it right...
