Just read this on livejournal, posted by frowne...
I had emailed MAC, since they had SO many date discrepancies lately, to find out what is the actual dates, and this is what I got:

"In addition, we would like to let you know that our 2010 Viva Glam makeup collection is scheduled to be launched February 10, 2010. Our limited edition bags are scheduled to be launched February 25, 2010. Please note that these dates are subject to change."

I can only guess that because they moved the date of the launch up by a month that they weren't able to get the bags ready in time?

ETA: Oh, and in preparation for VG Gaga, I put on mah new pink running shoes and ran to nuthin' but Gaga at the gym tonight!!

Saw Cyndi and Lady Gaga on GMA this morning. They are very good spokeswomen, especially Gaga. Two great choices by MAC! And both lipsticks looked great too.

I'm glad to hear the bags are being a bit staggered, as there are so many friggin collections this month that I'm glad they are coming out on a week when there's nothing else coming out

I can't wait to see these, though I'm wishing it had been released tomorrow so I don't have to make two trips this week. Sigh, oh well...

She was apparently inspired by Snob when she was collaborating with MAC to create the lippie. So Snob is likely to be the closest match, but not a dupe.

I don't know if anyone else's Mac store is doing this but at mine today they are having a "Kissing Booth" where you can go in and sign a book and then kiss the paper next to your signature in each of the new Viva Glam colors. And my store said I can buy them today also.

Just got back from the mall with 2 gaga lipsticks and just had to come here and share with everyone. Just for reference I could never wear snob for some reason it looked awful on me...maybe it was my light olive/yellow undertones....but the gaga lipstick looks good on me, finally a nice light pink lipstick that looks good on me. Its very pigmented and feels so moist on my lips, different from my other lusters in a good way that is. I saw Cyndi laupers lipstick and at first it reminded of Shee Sheer when I first saw it..but when I put the two lipsticks side by side..shee sheer is more orange..but the deepth of colour is the same. I did try it on, it looked great..but I am going to think about it because I do not wear red lips. My MA said the viva glam lipsticks run for the whole year, but I still got two gaga lippies because last time it took 5 months before the got new stock of the viva glam in.
