Yes, I assume Lady Gaga's lipstick will sell out faster because it's a pink color. She also has a bigger fan base than Cindy these days. More people are afraid to wear red. I decided to get 2x lipsticks for a good cause.

OK so I just spoke to my MA today to ask if there would be an event for the Spring Colour Forecast collections and she told me no but that they were just discussing this morning about doing some type of seminar in honor of this collection

She said there would be breakfast, one on one makeup lesson, and then we'd head over to the MAs and get a makeover. Then we'd leave with a bag of samples and goodies!!!!

OMG I've never been to a seminar type thing by MAC so I'm super excited

The March Marie Claire has an interview with Lady Gaga. She says that she loves Pink Noveau (sp?) but worked with MAC to get an even better shade. She also told her fans not to go out and buy PN but to make sure they bought the VG shade so the money would go to the MAC Aids Fund.

I hope this doesn't mean that the Gaga lipstick is a very close shade to Pink Nouveau. I already have PN so I should make sure to swatch them side by side in the store

Unfortunately, I don't think either will work for me...I'm not a pink or red type of person when it comes to lipsticks - nude, plum or a peachy pink yes. I'd buy to support the cause for sure - but I think if I had to choose I'd choose Cyndi's.

Regardless, I'll go in and swatch them both

I hope that Gaga shade isn't too garish on my complexion. Even so, I'll find a way to make it work. I'm sure Cyndi will work on me. I can't wait to drool over the packaging.
