here's my combo...lady gaga & nars turkish delight!
and the horror story too:
drove to nordstroms, fought all the other people in the parking lot (none of us could get out for the past eight days), got a space..went in..25-30 women standing around MAC counter..finally my turn, ordered two gaga's and ripe peach blush..back out to the parking lot..gave up my space..pulled out & grabbed bag to instantly apply new lipstick..opened both boxes..both cyndi's!! had to fight for another space,back in, get the right stuff.
then....i drove 30 miles one way to the cco to pick up stuff for me & two other specktra members..get all the way there & the entire outlet center is closed. nada..nothing!! they closed so they could plow the lots with no cars.
yikes!! what a day.
nordstrom was having sale, buy 2 mac shadows get 1 free.

OK was already planning on getting Gaga & not Cyndi. But...after seeing & hearing about it on here, I got them both. And I love BOTH of them so much!!! Cyndi most wearable red I've ever had & Gaga is another super wearable baby pink imo. So thank you all for great reviews & trying something I was going to pass up.

Did anyone else get the email about it being delayed because of the weather? So sad.... I want my Gaga. I may just have to run up to the counter and buy another. It'll give me a chance to check out Cyndi anyway I guess

All these posts make me think I need to start venturing away from my baby pink lipsticks and try VG Cyndi...

I bought them both today. Cyndi looks very similar to On Hold. It is more sheer (lustre vs. cremesheen), but it's such a wearable color and between the packaging and the cause, it was impossible to pass up! I bought some to give as gifts as well. I also bought Bubblegum - it's sheerer, not milky, and has a touch of shimmer compared to Gaga, though they are close to the same shade of pink. I think all three of them will be staples for me on the four days out of the work week when I don't bother with anything but foundation and a flattering shade of lipstick.

Do it! At least try it on if you can. What I love about it, as it wears it just turns into the cutest peach...at least on me.

Also, I added a couple more combos

I want Turkish Delight too. My local Sephora does not have Nars. Urban Decay was launched this month and I hope they will do the same with Nars soon!

i dont know if anyone's tried this, but when i first tried Gaga i literally went GAHHHHHHH take it off, but after thinking about it for 5 mins i decided to buy it, it's for a good cause but when i got home i tried it on and i put my Lavender wind lip glass over it and it looked sooo pretty! i also tried it with Mahogany lip liner blended together with clear lip glass over it, and i also tried it with dazzle glasses internationalist and Dazzlepuss ... HOTNESS!!!

LOL! Yes, I had the same reaction at first. I thought it looks too bright and pink. Almost neon pink on my lips. Then I started playing around with it and discovered that using one of the black glimmer glosses from the Style Black collection on top of Gaga takes out the bright undertone.

ok i have just seen how much a nars lipgloss costs - £17... now i know why i don't own any nars items! to me that is quite expencive...

true, nars is pricey. they're not much cheaper in the US though, a lipgloss is $24, that's about 17€ (compared to 19€ in europe). weird, since it's a european brand i's assume it would be cheaper here..
