The Nars website says that Kadewe and Quartier (don't know what Quartier is though) has Nars. So I'll get some in april.

But there is none in Frankfurt, where I go all the time. Bummer!

Audrey, I would skip it or (since it sounds like they'll be available over the next year), wait on getting them. I am also in the minority, but I am not completely in love with these lippies either.

They're okay, but they both require more work (lip pencil, lip gloss, sheer application, etc.) to look right on my NW20 skin. I understand the hype, but unfortunately the colors are just not me, either.

You did some major haulage, and got some *wonderful* things from Spring Colour Forecast. (things that IMO are 10 times better than the Gaga and Cyndi lippies). Use the money on other things.

It's the one resolution I've made to myself this year with makeup...if I'm not going to actually use it and love it, don't buy it. (These upcoming collections will be the true test of my resolution!)
We'll stay strong together.

P.S. Got my Color 3 purple quad today. You were SO SO SO right about it. Love it!

^^^^ i know! i bought one originally. when i left mac, i reached for it to put it on. then i walked into sephora...and you know how there are mirrors everywhere, i saw the colour in different lighting (cuz mac has weird lighting!), and i went back for 2 more. haha

i can't do gaga by itself either. i have to sheer it out, but i use my lipbalm to do that. so when you apply gaga, it's so slippery, that only a bit of colour goes on. but it's also easily buildable that way too - you just won't get an opaque colour. plus my lipbalm gives it more shine cuz it has a bit of shine to it naturally and it moisturizes my lips. it totally works for me. that's why when i tried it at mac, i didn't have my lipbalm under, so it wasn't THAT great, but when i left the store, i put it over my lipbalm cuz that's how i normally wear lipstick...(i NEED my lipbalm!)...and realized i needed more. haha. for reference i use my palmer's swivel stick for my lipbalm.

i love wearing my gaga that way. try it with your lipbalm!

Thank you!! I totally feel the same way. I just get all worked up, afraid I will miss out on something wonderful (since there doesn't seem to be a definate answer as to whether or not they will be available for a year). I am going to hold off and enjoy me Colour Forecast goodies. I do want 1-2 things from Riveting too, and I am more excited about them... SO glad you love the purple quad. Isn't it gorgeous!?!?

Skip it. Use the $$ for colors you really like. These lippies will be available for at least a year if you change your mind, you can always get it later.

I'm an NW15-20 and I think the only way I can wear Gaga is very sheer (like one coat) and with the VGVISE gloss on top. It takes alot of work to make this color work (I've tried w/several lipliners) and it isn't an easy color to wear/look good in.

Don't fall for the hype. If you think you won't use them,don't get them.

Maybe Erin or one of the other MA's will know for sure whether Gaga is going to still be around? It seems like it would be....but in MAC-land you just never know.
(Although it is promising that someone received a backorder notice and that Gaga would ship in 2 weeks....) My fingers are crossed that it's the case!

Purple quad = LOVE
It is even prettier than I imagined...there is something about the soft pink color in it - with the matte texture, that makes the purples just POP! And the colors are so vibrant, I can see this possibly creating a purple lover in me! Spring Forecast is SO FABULOUS! I still want to play with my stuff for a bit before it takes a back seat to some of the other goodies coming out. (I think I am going to hold out on Riveting for the time being).

I knew it. Thanks Erin.. I picked up Gaga Lipstick yesterday & the guy working at the store tried to talk me into buying 2. He kept telling me that they were LE and wouldn't be restocked. I think he was just worried about his AUS.
