I am actually doing extensions next week. I had them in a couple months ago & my hair needed a break & now that I told the new guy I was getting them and he was ok with it, I am doing it.
I will probably do boob length!

What kind are you getting? Since you are a hairstylist, and have had extensions yourself, do you have any tips for me when I look into getting them?

From my experience with extensions I'd recommend Remi weft with sewing technique - much less harm to your own hair. If you have very fine hair, wax can really destroy your hair.

From what I've read the braiding + sewing way isn't a good idea for slippery "nordic" hair. So keratin bonds is probably the way I am going. My hair isn't thin though, I have a quite a lot of it (again as far as blond "nordic" hair goes).

Yea, I have to disagree with the sewing technique. Caucasian women should not get it. Its far more damaging. I have seen it done & trust me it isn't a pretty aftermath!
