I seem to remember Chanel makeup being sold in Sephora eons ago. But then I could be going bonkers and making this all up in my head. (ETA I think that it was only at select stores and was phased out about ten years ago.)

My nearest Ulta is one of the locations that resells used returned items. Something that I experienced first hand when I ended buying a used returned lipstick. Did not check it before buying.

My local nordies has the blush thingy collection in stock.

You are right. Sephora did have Chanel. I was so sorry to see it go. Once I saw brands like Armani and such at Sephora, I was sure Chanel would come back.

One day I remember during my shift at ulta customer came in to be color matched for Boing concealer from benefit. So while I was matching that woman I saw cashier putting back boing on the shelf . so you know someone maybe changed their mind at the register or whatever, or it was used return. So my guest decided to buy it and I went over to grab the product from the shelf for her and I grab the one put there by the cashier - well guess what. It was completely used up concealer. Like there was literally 0 product inside . So someone returned that and cashier did not even look at it and just put it back on the shelf. I am so sick of ulta bullshit lies about not re selling used product.

The returned used lipstick that I bought from ULTA was nasty. It wasn’t just “one swatch” used. It was “halfway gone with embedded lip flakes, chunky gunk, and with a hair on it” used. I returned it the next day and gave them a piece of my mind. The cashier told me that they normally check returned products before putting them back on the shelf. Yep not shopping there anymore. :shakehead:

It was utterly disgusting. What floored me was the sa response to the situation. She was so matter of fact. No apologies. No surprise or shock to what happened. Obviously not something new in that store.:shakehead:

The lipstick looked like an abused tester that had been used for a while. :puke:
